Casey and JSU on ESPN and College GameDay this Fall

I can't wait until espn shows 2010 footage of the white-murderer killing su, lorman college & Bama A&M in vet memorial

Oh what a joy that will be.

Re: Casey and JSU on ESPN and College GameDay this Fall........

Dude, Renty is a beast. He was definately ahead of the curve to start last season. He stayed open and had flypaper for hands. At some point, though, he became used less. We don't know why. But he has everything you'd want in a TE. You are right about him.

I think there's another @ sTu who has the size and probable skills, if he can find someone to throw it to him that pretends to be a QB. lol I wonder why SWAC offenses are so hell bent on not using the TE more. :smh: Rarely see RBs catching passes out of the backfield in the SWAC as well, unless it's some type of jacked up screen attempt lol. :read: In the SWAC it's 4-recvr set and boom! Go fly down the field and chunk it. :retard:

Hope Renty has a solid year. Would do nothing but bolster JSU's scoring threats (plural). Ditto for the kid @ sTu.

Damn good question. My folks have a pretty good one (Nedermeyer); caught everything that was thrown at him and got some nice yards, too. Only thing he wasn't utilized much at all. :(

I didn't know Casey Therriault had served jail time. WOW!

I'm an underdog, so I'll always cheer especially hardest for other underdogs. It's easy to mess up but when others are willing to give you another chance, there's a lot to be said about those types of people. I'm glad it was an HBCU that gave this kid another chance, and even more glad it was a SWAC HBCU! I just hope ESPN focuses more on the fact that Jackson State University wanted this kid when no one else did.

Good job Jackson State......and to the nameless other HBCUs that are still doing the same thing.

Re: Casey and JSU on ESPN and College GameDay this Fall........

Congrats to Casey and JSU...... but lets be real we know ESPN is doing this story because its a white boy playing quarterback at a HBCU.... when it airs count how many times they mention "Historically Black College".

It took 18 posts for someone to bring up the truth. I don't understand why he is so celebrated. I just perceive him as a white player taking away an oppurtunity away from young brother with comparable or better football skills. Maybe it's just a bi-product of our conference's inability to recruit or not appeal to black athletes with mid-range talent.

The media loves to exploit race, human failure, success, controversy and redemption. The second year starter provides all those factors. Throw an HBCU in the mix, and it makes for a real ratings and promotion grab.

And we can all thank Therriault for being thrown in jail following a fight outside a bar that resulted in the death of a drunk patron then performing well as a white quarterback at a black school.
