Bama calls out Boise State

yall crazy as hell if you think Boise State can run with Bama.... If you said you just dont like Bama, I can roll with that.... but common now... Boise State. Are you witnessing this asswhippin Florida is taking???

Yeah, the UF offensive coaching staff is costing them the game. Why is Brantley running the read option when he is much better at just dropping back and passing? Florida keeps running that same dumb play out of the shotgun with Demps up the middle and ain't getting nothing out of it.

I don't know if Boise State would beat Alabama, but I sure as heck would love to see the matchup. I mean, Boise State has some really good veteran athletes on both sides of the ball. Florida is working with a new center who can't snap and a young quarterback. That is a big difference to Kellen Moore who is up for the Heisman.

Y'all can debate this issue forever, but the only thing that will truly settle it is a playoff system. If Boise went through it and won, nobody could say a thing. Otherwise, even with this BCS system we still got subjective opinions.

I agree... people are talking about what Alabama would do to Boise State IF they played them for one game... under the current BCS system, you would NEVER get to see if that indeed is true because a one loss SEC team could still play in the BCS title game against an undefeated Big Ten/Big 12 OVER an undefeated Boise or TCU team... like someone said, the system is basically for the 6 BCS conferences and then theres everyone else on the outside looking in...

If this is the case then I hope that they are not taking Ole Miss lightly becasue Nutt has made them into a football machine and could just about walk out with a victory.

u know you making bama look woooooooorse that year by sayin they got beat by one dude...right? :retard:

~walks out~

I'm willing to go out on a limb and say they will never be the same without him. If you don't like Bama just say it. We never said they couldn't loose a game, but you just remember that this Bama team is kicking azz and have been doing it for two straight years.

kill yoself.... Ole Miss loss to JACKSONVILLE STATE....

And I'll take this a step farther for yall to end this Boise St., Oregon, TCU mess. Steve Air McNair didn't win that Heisman Trophy only, because he went to a small school in the SWAC, which happened to be black. We all know he kicked azz period and should have received that dayum trophy. But no! yall want Boise St. or Oregon to win the Championship. Well! if Steve didn't win that trophy, then Boise St. or anybody else in that far left corner of the U.S. shouldn't win nothing either until they stand up, put up or just shut the hell up and play harder schedules to get some credit.

1. I don't think Boise State should be punished because Steve McNair did not win the Heisman back in 1993. Just him getting invited and finishing third was was great accomplishment, considering no other FCS player since then has even been invited to the ceremony. You could make the argument that Andre Ware and Ty Detmer were "small school" cats who won the Heisman. But in the case of Detmer at BYU, the Cougars had been a national power in the 80s and early 90s. Ware put up Playstation 3 numbers the year he won the award against No. 13 Arkansas, No. 18 Texas and set 26 NCAA records that season as well.

2. While I think Steve McNair was a great college football player, you have to factor in that he did play against FCS competition. And that is totally different than the plight Boise State finds themselves in.

In fact, Boise State is 6-1 against Top 10 teams in the last six years. Oregon, who jumped Boise State in the AP and coaches poll this week after beating up Stanford, lost to Boise State last year scoring just 8 points in that game.

Oregon went onto win the Pac-10 last season. So in the last couple of years Boise State has beaten the Pac-10 champion (Oregon), The Mountain West champion (TCU), the Big 12 champion (Oklahoma) and the ACC runner up (Va. Tech). Significantly different than Steve McNair not winning an individual award, bro.

Guys who we think should win individual awards don't always. It's nothing new. I mean, teams going undefeated multiple years and not having the opportunity to play for the league or sport championship due to shady computer formulas has not been historically part of sports.

Can't play a tougher schedule when teams will not play you. Boise St. put a challenge that they would play anyone on their field and did not want a return game to Boise and there were no takers. Now Alabama is stacked and has the team to repeat, now they are talking smack. Where was that when Boise St. offered the challenge. Not is only Boise is a beast, but people need to watch out for Nevada who has a high powered offense that can flat out score. The WAC has two teams that could play with anyone. Bama calling out Boise St? Where was this when Boise was calling them out & they did not respond?

One thing I know for sure is that Boise St would beat Ohio St's head in this year. Ohio St shouldn't even be in the top 5. In addition to that they would beat Oregon AGAIN.
