Do you have a QB??

YES, YES WE DO!
:p

3 good ones at that!!!!

Trust me on this one:
The QB leading the COLEBLOODED offense will be player of the year AGAIN (hasn't it always been that way?)

:snicker:

After all this jsue/A&T stuff  , somebody's gonna be ImbarrASSed soon enough.

Hey Thrilla....you tried a little spin. Now lets deal with the truth.

With only eight returning seniors, N.C. A&T football appears to be in a rebuilding mode. Even so, the Aggies "Blue Death" defense figures to be as menacing as ever.
Appears to be rebuilding....translated...they are getting killed in practice.

Riiiight Riiight...the same defense that sucked last year is going to come back as fierce as ever with only 5 starters returning. Riiiight Riiight

During spring football drills, A&T's defense, one of the MEAC's best in recent seasons, showed considerable promise. That's a good sign for a unit that will miss the contributions of eight lettermen whose college careers ended in November.

A. Showed considerable promise? ...translated that means yall suck and might be good someday.
B. When he refers to AT&TS defense being the best, he was talking about last years defense.
C. If that was one of the MEACs best, then the MEAC should get out of football. Here is a list of teams in the SWAC with better defenses. A&M, JSU, SU, GSU, TxSU, PV, APB. So if that was the best you had to offer, you suck. :)

"We moved some people around on defense and things have come along nicely," coach Bill Hayes said. "There's enough talent on that side of the ball, but the big difference is team speed. Overall, things were far from perfect, but the spring progressed reasonably well."
More key word drops to let you know your defense sucks. Yall sound like 0-10 supporters:
Come along nicely....translated.....we really suck right now
Moved people around....translated...we dont have a clue where to put people and we dont have the people we need to be effective.
Far from perfect....translated.....we really really suck
progressed reasonably well...translated....Does anybody out there have a job opening? We are going to get killed next year and these boys aint nowhere near ready.

This is so much fun....are you sure Scott Gramillion is not your beat writer. This guys is doing his best to make you guys sound good. But garbage stinks no matter what kind of garbage can you put it in.

A&T will need more offensive balance to challenge for this year's conference title. And based on spring drills, the Aggies appear to have the potential to develop into a contender. Still, a number of questions about the offense aren't likely to be answered until preseason practice begins in August.

AT&T has the potential to develop?....translated....AT&T doenst have it this year. They are deep in a rebuilding stage and are nowhere near a contender.

In the spring, redshirt freshman Randal Rankin and Booker Washington, a converted wide receiver, took most of the snaps at quarterback. But with prized QB recruits Jason Douglas and Marshall Glenn coming in, it's conceivable that one or both of the spring quarterbacks might join the receiving corps.

Translated...we wasted the whole spring and we still dont have a clue who the QB is going to be.

The Aggies' strengths on offense are at wide receiver and on the line. Jamal Jones, Bud Phillips, Curtis Deloatch and Kenny Perry are being counted on to give A&T more big-play capability. Deloatch, a Division I-AA All-America kick-return artist, is making the switch from cornerback to wideout.

Translated.....We need some wideouts bad......I believe TP covered this one :snicker

Up front, the Aggies are young, but there is ample game experience on hand. Patrick Jordan and Junius Coston got valuable playing time as freshmen a year ago. Desmond Long has the tools to emerge as an all-conference player.

"We're still striving to discover what our offensive personality will be," said offensive coordinator Allan Gerber. "We're not going to abandon being a ball-control team. But we also want to be versatile enough to get the ball to our best athletes in as many different ways as possible

Striving to discover.....translated....we dont have a damn clue.

I love this beat writer and your coaches....they really know how to handle the press well. For people like me who have reading comprehension skills it sounds to me like your offense and defense is in shambles. You have gone the whole spring without choosing a QB, your line is young and weak, you have no WR core worth speaking of....its so weak, you had to move your best CB to WR. Your defensive line may be respectable, but you have no linebackers and we aaaalll know your DBs are total garbage. So why dont you give it up man? We all know you are rebuilding. I just hope you can scratch out a winning season.

Hey yall.....Lets go over the smooch spin words.

 • SHOWED CONSIDERABLE PROMISE
 • COMING ALONG NICELY
 • MOVED PEOPLE AROUND
 • FAR FROM PERFECT
 • PROGRESSED RESONABLEY WELL
 • STRIVING TO DISCOVER
 • HAS THE POTENTIAL TO DEVELOP

Hey thrilla,

My aunt could be my uncle if she had the potential to develop nutts.

Where is BT?.
Oooooh BT come out come out where ever you aaaare.

TP, you done ran that kid off.

Oh well?Im sure he is somewhere doing research or something.

Hey TP

Do you think this dude getting dragged is one of the guys they are moving to middle Linebacker, one of the "lettermen" lost, one of the guys they are moving around on defense, or one of the losers that is going to get abused in Sept? He looks like one of them 200lb linebackers to me.

Thrilla, which of these guys is your middle linebacker? The Mafia needs a good laugh today.

Lance 6'1', 205
Okaracha 6'2, 220
Francis 6'1, 220

I still want to know which one of these is the middle dayum linebacker!!

GR,

I think that you, Robber, BattleCat, BC3000, JSUToi, Noise Talka, JST, and Makaho could block for me and I could get 100 yards against this:

Lance 6'1', 205 (I CAN TAKE THIS ONE ON BY MYSELF :lmao: )
Okaracha 6'2, 220
Francis 6'1, 220

I dont know about that one.....Cox is a big strong kid....kinda runs like Destry....Might be the second best RB on the team. We might let him run up against Charles Lee or White......so he wont get hurt so bad.

I know he dont want none of....

GR, thanks for that translation. For a second I almost thought the writer meant was he wrote. Silly me.

BTW: You are really starting to dissapoint me. Whenver you run out of quailty information to support you case you just resort to posting giberish. Sad.

TP,

Stop handing around GR. He's obviously ruining your brain cells. You and Robber are the only two remaining JSU smakcers I can have a decent conversation with these days, and Robber already knows whats' up.

Now back to simple arthimetic: 101....A&T has eight starter returning on defense. It's more like nine but for the sake of this argument I will just say eight now.

We have Montrail Pittmen (first team All-MEAC), Jason Horton (secnd team all-meac), eddie ravenell (the ECU transfer who intercepted a pass against JSU) and Jason McCoy all coming back in the secondary. We ran a 4-4 base defense last year so McCoy and Deloatch did not start every game but they got plenty of playing time. McCoy was the starting free safety whenever we ran a 3-4, 4-4, or nickle. Deloatch was always a backup. He did not start at cornerbackback against JSU but still came off the bench in time to make that 48 yard interception return for a TD. We rotated seven guys last season. Only one graduated.

In the middle we have Francis and Okaracha coming back. Both started on the outside for about 90 percent of the season. Like I said we ran a 4-4, so 4-2 =2. Do the math.

Up front we have Blowe, Butler, and Blackstock coming back. Blackstock didn't start until the FAMU game, so I won't count him now.

That leaves all four in the secondary (or three when we run the 4-4), two in the middle, and two (or really three) on the D-line.

Now please tell me how you get 5 returning players from all that.

You guys are st_p_d.

TP, how many yards did your team rush for against my linebackers last year.

BTW: If you add about a inch and 20lbs to each of those names you might have the right stats. Making up lies for smack purposes is lame.

Every guy you just named played against you last year. If I remember correctly they shut your offense down in the second half and left with a W.

And to make matters worse, our linebacker unit is only getting better this season.

The end is near.

It really do not matter how many of them lames you got coming back. We are going to beat you in your on back yard. Once again Kent is going to be healthy and more focus. If I was you I will go ahead and start me an excuse list.

Once again Kent is going to be healthy and more focus.

Actually that's not what I heard. *snicker*

Damn, I wish Robber hadn't told me that stuff about the game film because I really could use it for smack purposes now. C-lebb told me the exact same thing a few weeks later at a track meet but honestly Robber told me first, therefore it's off limits.

There is an unrwitten code to smack and I will abide by it. You clowns are lucky.

BT,

I got those ht/wt from your roster and please don't say that any thing on your team shut down the JSU offense. What did you expect 700 yards of total offense. 500 wasn't enough??

Game film or whatever, he still blasted you.

With all the talent you claim JSU had I actually expected for you to have more than one scoring drive in the second half and to actually blow us out. Silly me.

I never expected for your all-world QB to throw 5 intercpetions and for your best WR t odrop the chalupa on 4th and 19.

If they were that good and my defense was as sorry as you claim, you should have scored about 70 points. You should have been leading by two touchdowns the majority of the game, not the other way around.

BTW: My defense gave up more yards to FAMU and Howard and we dominated those games on the scoreboard. So what's your point?

Yards do not equal points, nor Ws. It just some meaningless excuse used by losers.

Hughes, you remember him dont you, recruited the best QB in the state. But Im sure that doesnt mean a thing to you.

Uhh.. hold up a second. I don't know how I almost missed this orginally but GR, you need to stop it with all these lies!

Please offer the name of the quarterback Hughes signed who was considered the "best in the state." I don't care what state it is, aint no best quarterback signing with JSU. Hughes just doesn't have that kind of pull. He's a Jockwasher remember?

You might want to go back and correct that.

See TP,

We cant use the literal meaning of documentation, we have to assume what is meant rather than what is written. So you need to add 20lbs and an inch to their players. How convenient. But dont interpret what is written because the writer meant what he wrote.

Man this is too over the top for me. BT is just too much of a good smacker.

PK, explain yourself!

GR, ask TP to post a link of the A&T roster he got that from. I bet he can't do it. I bet it came from a magical roster that only he can see.

BTW: Please list the size of JSU's outside linebackers. I doubt any are over 230.
