It means that we (AAMU) no longer hold our destiny in our hands....:bawling:
 
According to the Alcorn Broadcast, they have to beat J-State next week and hope that Texas Southern can beat Bama State to get to Birmingham.

It looks like Alabama State is in the driver's seat. If they win out, and Alcorn does too, they would both be 5-2. Alabama State would win it due to the head to head win over Alcorn. Alcorn needs to beat JSU and have Ala. State lose to TxSu in order to win the East.

That's how it looks to me.

a Bama State win over TxSou next week puts the Hornets into the SCG

other scenarios,
Bama State loss to TxSou and Alcorn beats JSU, then Alcorn goes
Bama State loss to TxSou and Alcorn loss to JSU , then A&M goes

In a nutshell it means that Bama State will clinch the East with a win over Texas Southern next week.

I will be pulling for you to beat JSU and TxSU to beat Bama St.

I think a Alcorn/SU or GSU championship game will be better.

P.S. No TSU we are not overlooking you but I think the Jags are gonna pull it out.
