Alcorn Deserted the New Big Three

Ahhhhh.......so THAT'S what I smelled!! I guess I owe some of the Alcorn Fans a humble apology. (Thought they had diarrhea or sumthin.):( My bad.

****The crickets are still chirping****

They are chirping away and waiting on Alabama State, waiting on when they will stop choking in Championship games.

I heard that from Mighty Dog

I heard from AAMU students that there are goats walking around on campus at Annie Mae. They stay in the dorms and they go to class everyday.:D ;)

Go take a bath..................***crickets*** That could've been funny if it weren't come from a slow person.:D

And the crowd goes Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

******Crickets********

Did anyone say anything?:D

I see now you bama's just don't understand your place in the SWAC

I guess its up to me to show you how dumb yall look & sound.

Ntelekt stated.
PAST glory should be reflected upon and learn from.

This is all I've been saying A&M I thought I taught you well but I see you just haven't grasped it yet & applied what you have learned...refer back to my 1st post (page 1 at the bottom) for a better understanding.

Biff stated
All those years in the Swac. Still nobody outside Lorman knows what the heck an Alcorn State is. I give credit where credit is due. Alcorn State is the BOMB on Alcorn State's campus. Nothing more.

Crickets have been chirping since. Biff doesnt' lie.

Biff might not lie but Biff sure does get things confused....What I need you to do in today's lesson is to insert your school in all of the afformention places where Alcorn State is. You being from the AS Loser school does mean you are a little "slow" so I guess I'll do it for you.

See Biff, this technique is called "LOOKING IN THE MIRROR"....works fine doesn't it. Take a look at my second post (second page top) for a clearer view. I think you'll finally SEE the light & see how everybody outside of Alabama in the swac sees you.

If you bama's still have problems comprehending...then I'll just have to credit it to your education (high school)...I do trust that those bama school's are providing you with quality education.

str8brave don't use petty smack with the guys that's their level of understanding...we are trying to get them on a higher level so you have to come with "the realness" or other words, talk over their heads a little in order to challenge their mind. They (bamas) hate that, its almost like mental hazing but they need this in order to understand that they are a loser. It is stated that "Once you admit your problem then you can work toward correcting it." That is what we are trying to do in today's lesson.

This is all I've been saying A&M...

Let's not get it twisted now. I also said that "You're using it as a long azz crutch."

Reason being....it GREAT that y'all have done great things in the PAST, but NONE of those things (no...not ONE) is a direct correlation of what y'all will do in the future!!!

That's my primary point.
For example: leading up to the 2000 season, y'all had "tradition" and had PREVIOUSLY done some pretty good things. Did those PAST accomplishments help you out that season?...HELL NO!

Past glory SHOULD be reflected upon and learned from...but THAT'S ALL YOU CAN DO WITH IT! Tradition does NOT play the games...tradition does NOT give you a 7 point advantage before the contest starts....tradition is something that you should want to build on with FUTURE success, but that ish ain't automatic! :D
That's all...

Are we clear now???

*Man...if some of y'all would just read what's there instead of trying to read INTO what's there...you'd be a lot better off....*

Ntelekt I do see what you are saying & I understand it to the upmost. I'm not basing anything with Alcorn in the past. I just want you all to realize that Alcorn is not some doormat in the swac & because you (A&M) have come in the swac while Alcorn has not been their TRADITIONAL self in these last few years, you just may get a wrong impression of what Alcorn is capable of. What I'm saying is that A&M does not have that right to boast or down grade anything because nothing has been done by A&M, that correlates with the present & the past.
We'll take away all of the things Alcorn did before you all got here & start with the day yall joined the swac. The fact remains that in major sports Alcorn has two or three championships while A&M has none in either football or basketball. (There you have it...no crutch needed)

All A&M should be doing is respecting their elders & learning from them how to be a champion in the SWAC---period. If you don't take heed to what I'm saying you will end up like your counterpart Ala. st.

We're finally getting somewhere. :D

Ya see?...I coulda SWORN that the talk here was STRICTLY FOOTBALL! I was basing everything I said on football. My "tradition" piece CAN be applied to any sport, but I've only talked FOOTBALL here. In THIS case, you're using basketball as a crutch.

Since we've been in the SWAC you all haven't done more than AAMU...let's be real about it. In regard to the past, as you say...WE WEREN'T HERE, so that point isn't applicable. As far as the PRESENT (which I would think includes the past few years), the only thing you've done to us was win 1 out of 3 games.
Nobody's trying to take away what y'all did in the past...for what? We weren't included in that past...we weren't around to be able to alter/influence/prevent that past, so THAT is why WE don't focus on what YOU'VE done. We've got our own stuff to worry about! :D
The only Alcorn team("traditional" or not) I'm concerned with are the ones we've faced since we've been in the conference.
*shrugs shoulders*

All A&M should be doing is respecting their elders & learning from them how to be a champion in the SWAC---period. If you don't take heed to what I'm saying you will end up like your counterpart Ala. st.

That "respect your elders" doesn't really apply here when we're talking about COMPETITION. What?....y'all wanted us to come into the SWAC and just let be run over from jump...not even trying to win? I hope not, because you know that didn't happen. The only thing that we have to "wait" for is for us to be able to build a "SWAC tradition" of our own. The only thing we need to accomplish that is TIME. ;)

With time, you gain opportunity...
With opportunity, you gain experience...
With experience, you gain a better edge to be more successful...
And THAT is what helps to form a "good" tradition. :)

And that's all good, but in the meantime...we ain't layin' down for nobody, either! :p

You handle YOURS...and we'll handle OURS....

Umm Ntelekt... this thread was started by talking about basketball...I'm not the one with the blinders on kid. Its okay though, I understand that the truth is hard to swallow.

'THE LEARNING (Burn)'
The fact remains that in major championships

Alcorn-two championships
Ala. A&M-none

shut it...behave as the babe you are
bye now:wavey:

MD........

You know it is hard as "L" to get any type of electronic equipment to function properly down on the Reservation. :D :D :D

You must remember the last time we were down there we could not get any cell phone traffic in or out of that place.

Maybe he went to isht and he fell in or the hogs ate him??????

Yep, I am glad we brought our food with us. We were going to buy a goat and roast it, but they could not find the key to the gate.

Ntelekt,

This is where you are wrong and this is why your program will not be a continuous success. You can bring in anyone you want but you will never win more then one SWAC title per decade. Last year, I told you that some teams have ceiling and yours is one of them. A lot of people had TNState in the top 10 last year and got a lot of  . But I told them that TSU could pull off a better season becasue they have tradition, pride, and a following. Teams can slump like TNState and Alcorn but if that foundation is there, they can rebound quickly. Tradition brings in more athletic dollars, helps with recruits, give the athletics a reason behind what they are doing and gives you a home and road fan base. Bruh, believe it or not, that is half the battle.

It took tarzan boy 17 days as well! What do you all use in Mi'sippi to keep time, sundials and Roman calendars?

Heh

Cute little comebacks A&M pups...

But actually...I've been very busy over here at Alcorn; learning.

You can offically call me Alumni now. I had alot of important work to do before I had time to respond to you pups. I'm glad to know you were waiting on my response....atleast I know I have your attention in lecture. I use the "adult learner theory"...I hope you all apply what has been taught.

peace & love my swac preschoolers

P.S. Thanks TP for the added info. They don't understand that because they don't have that. (tradition that is)

We could help you start a boycott to get the goat meat out of the dining hall and help you all get into the Catfish industry.

Nope, MD

Since Annie Mae did not make the Top Three in Baseball; you all have to continue to eat GOAT while visitng the Reservation.

86, we had to get use to the new baseball complex this year but this will not happened again. We will take those funds that was appriopriated for the trip to Shreveport and use them to make several more recruiting trips.

Tarzan,

In ALL of that BS you've just spouted...you STILL haven't pointed out my supposed "error" in what I stated. All you did was go on and on about this dogma of yours. None of that had ish to do with anything that I said.

So please...quote me again, and THIS TIME..."correct" me!

Yeah....must've been a long time comin' with that "early" reply...:D

Baseball must've become a big 3 sport suddenly since the squaws are trying to smack without big sister Donna Karan to wipe their butts for them.
