He wasn't injured. He literally was sat. They may come up with something but he wasn't injured. He was clearly pissed as he watched Asberry make decisions and call plays that made absolutely zero sense whatsoever. That guy cannot coach. How he won elsewhere is a damn mystery. Or a kubiak situation. He won when everyone else couldn't cover a spread in a jailhouse kitchen...
John Shannon is the OC...He was calling those plays...Lawd you guys in the red zone.. Single covered Grif and the QB does not even look that way.. Dayum a fade he could have thrown it short because the DB was behind him...LOL

I was saying the same thing. Hell, pro QBs have problems throwing the fade. That is not an easy pass to throw. Send the man to the post and throw it high or send him to the goal line and throw it high.

Texas Southern and Alabama State could play their all-stars in one time and still be a bad team... those lines... smh .. #highschool

Also, why is Asberry losing at TxSo. He has won everywhere else as a coordinator (JSU, NCCU) and a HC (Shaw). What makes TSU different?

It's not TSU, in the past maybe, no probably. Although, at the current time the problem is absolutely not TSU. I believe your brother alum truly believed he was just smarter than the other coaches in the SWAC and the wins would fall in line. Your brother alum, never came in rolled up his sleeves and put in the work to develop the talent available to him. I believe he has learned a lesson and will be better for it somewhere else. TSU and it's current h.c. both need a new start in different directions.

You don't get what I'm saying here. It is as simple as saying to your OC "put him in the game and call post patterns...now. I promise you'll get a good severance."

That DB wasn't having none of that. He shut Griffin down on this possession, lol.....naw seriously, I'm so glad that TSU coaches and that QB didn't throw to him like they should've. I'll be glad when he graduates or leaves early.

This below VVVVVVVVVVVVV, lilC. Very, very, very telling :D .

Quit hiring coaches who don't think and don't know much about football in Texas..

There's too much talent here in Tx for PVAMU and sTu to... I'm sick of singing the same old tired azz dry song. I'm going to a HS fball game tonight to view @ LEAST 7 D-I FBS prospects playing against each other (1 DT, 2 DE, 2 OL, 1 RB, and 1 QB). And 2 of those are my own 2nd maternal cousins :( . I'm sure TxTech, Rice, IowaSt, Cal smh, Stanford smh, and OkSt will be in the stands again rubbing on a few mothers' kat (stroking their egos) to get their sons to verbally commit to them.

Agreed. Man...and now Lamar has a team...

Don't matter anyway N.TX football dominates TX anyway. We already had that conversation. Funny thing is you wouldn't believe how many coaches in N.TX have degrees from TSU.

Ft. Worth ISD sponsored a senior day for the district last year. SEC check, Big 12 check, TSU....TSU.....TSU....no show.

When Harbaugh (Michigan) did his clinic in TX a few months ago. TSU was invited to attend all parts (watch prospects work out, coaching clinics, access to everything there)the current HC acted like that was beneath him.
