Alabama State vs Texas Southern: Game Updates - 6:30pm CT

and bad play calling, only sTu stopped #80, they stopped throwing to him and had him blocking all night smh

Number 8 came in and looked like a QB. Number 12 is taller and was throwing on the sideline...like a better qb...fire that guy

I know we have had our usual swac-ish issues with grades et al when he got here but the common denominator in TSU losing is and has been the coaching. And that's even when we don't recruit right here in this state. Ijs...there really is no excuse for us to be a Texas team in the swac who cannot win.

He wasn't injured. He literally was sat. They may come up with something but he wasn't injured. He was clearly pissed as he watched Asberry make decisions and call plays that made absolutely zero sense whatsoever. That guy cannot coach. How he won elsewhere is a damn mystery. Or a kubiak situation. He won when everyone else couldn't cover a spread in a jailhouse kitchen...

Are you SURE it was Asberry calling the plays? Cause when I looked, it sure didn't seem like he was involved in the offense.

dude it's not that hard, give the ball to #26 #2, #14 then throw to #80 and it will be at least 400 yards of offense per game and keep the Northern defense off the field for extended amounts of time

The commentators said he was injured.

He wasn't injured, you could tell by his body language that he was pissed that they weren't throwing to him. He was getting open and they used him as a blocker on a lot of plays.

I bet he's rethinking that decision to stay at sTu now... I know a coach up Hwy. 290 who would have got him touches every game a la Nick Pitre...
