Did I say anything about JSU not wanting a defense? I said that a great defense is needed when the offense doesn't show up and you are in close games. Like last night... When you play the better teams, things get exposed.

Bad special teams (i.e. blocked punt)...
Turnovers (i.e. 2 fumbles)...
Blocking (i.e. 4 sacks)...

Your defense played good but theirs played better when it mattered. They contained you. They were more opportunistic than you were. They capitalized on your mistakes. That's what wins games.

As for AAMU, the might not have as good of an offense as Alabama State but they have a better defense than them. That's why they are winning. Overlooking teams will have you feeling like you do now. Disappointed...
 



Bama State could have easily scored three more touchdowns on JSU. We got in their redzone (3) times and didn't capitalize.

Not to mention the TWO dropped INT's!!!
Heck, we had errors too... no doubt, but think if we would have held on to those dropped INT's?? Kent is gonna throw some!!
Had (Hill, who has 8 INT's this season) had have held on to the one where he was headed to the endzone -- you would have been still add'um up!!

AAMU has a good defense for real --- don't expect a walk in the park with them... ask TNSt! :lol:

But anyway... we'll look at AAMU, yall just take you other week off for GSU --- we'll have this convo with you again after 10/26!!
When GSU continues to expose yall as simps... and we tick AAMU off enuff to take out their lost to Us on Yall!!

Thanks for the kind words about the Dog's defense. Your conclusion about the outcome of the Magic City Classis, however, is demonstrable faulty. At any rate, we'll deal with the Bumblees after we take care of Valley.

Congrats on kicking Jenny Sue for ... straight times.

The question was... Did I say JSU didn't want a defense?

Now, if I said that you didn't have a defense. That is different than not wanting one. I said neither. I was not talking about JSU in that paragraph or in the post. I was talking in general. If all of you weren't so sensitive then you would see that. But, I forgot to talk to ya'll everyone has to walk on egg shells. You get upset when someone critiques your team when you should learn to do that yourself. Instead of thinking you are all world... Only to end up disappointed when you go 7-4 every year.

None of my statement if you read it objectively was pointed at JSU. Only the first line refered to you. The rest of the post was general statements about football. Now, if you think differently, that's all on you. Read what you want and take it how you want. It's only upseting you.
 
The simple fact that YOU said that THEY (JSU) don't understand that implies that all JSU cares about is offense. If not, why would you say that we don't understand that? Please respond...and again, if you are a girl let me know because that will explain a lot of the confusion.

Nevermind. You are such a liar. I just went over to the Onnidan board and read what you said about the JSU defense and how all we want is defense. I really wish I could find a logical person to smack. This is getting sadder by the day.

Actually that said the JSU had a subpar defense. You need to learn to read. But I forgot, you read what you want to.
