That's right, I hope you do overlook Bama State so we can do what A&M did in 2000.

Looks like the team wanted to the most important game to this point to have a bad game. They seemed to overlook ASU. They acted like they though this would be an easy win after Alcorn drilled them. Sooner or later Hughes and the players are going to realized that Alabama State takes this game personally whether JSU does or not. They were crunk from warm-ups til they got back on thier buses. I saw nothing from our guys before the game to make me think they were hyped to play. They looked like they were just standing around waiting for the game to start. This team has to learn to get up to play more than just SU. That's how Valley stayed close. It's not "just another game" when you're playing a division opponent. They have to play every team in thee division like they're playing in the SCG against a team they hate. I still expect them to beat AAMU and Alcorn.
I did notice something in this game that makes more think Cole doesn't deserve all the credit for the teams improvment in the last few years. I think its the football atmosphere at ASU. Everyone was on one accord. When Cole first got here, they got the school all hyped up to put thier support behind the new coach. Usually that kinda hype dies out, but so far it's still going on. All the performing groups really acted like they were on the same team. When the band played the crowd, football team, and cheerleaders were crunk. Not that thier band was really just playing something. Some of the people probably didn't even know what the songs were, but because the football got crunk to it. They got crunk. When the cheerleaders did cheers, instead of sitting there like bumps on a log, people actually cheered along. At most HBCU games people just sit there like "ok, there go the cheerleaders..............yeah ok the cheerleaders...whatever." Seems like the whole school has crunk about this game. I assume it was homecoming.
I'd point the 3 key plays in the game. The blocked punt, the fumbled returned for a TD, and that BS personal foul call. I might not understand the rule, but it was my impression that if you bobble a punt return you can run with it once you get it under control, and if you didn't call for a fair catch, you're not down until someone touches you. They didn't hit him helmet to helmet, so I don't see how it was a personal foul. HE could have not touched him, then we would have had one of those situations we see all the time. No one touches a player, both teams think the play is over, and the guy with the ball is on the only one with sense enough to know its not. Bang, he is running for a TD before they realize what is going on. But the biggest play was certainly the fumble. After they scored, the scored stay the same in the game for a long time, and JSU was moving in for the go ahead score at the to go ahead score. Kent doesn't fumble that ball, we probably win this game. THe O-line seemed to have problems with blitzes off the right side all night. That is not even his blind side. I don't know how he didn't see then coming.

Say Bruh! Calm down! Your writing skills have went to Hell!! I'm having problems with almost every sentence you've written. You should've just said we lost and I could get where you are coming from. It's obvious that this lost has you shaken up a bit. :lmao:

Congrats ASU. You guys had a plan and it worked better than ours.
Miike, your team still does not have an offense. I can take this loss because ASU deserved those 24 points but imagine that if ASU can only score 24 against JSU ( 3 were off of a blocked punt and JSU still stopped them and 7 more were from a fumble return) AAMU won't score half of that. ASU did not score an offensive TD the ENTIRE second half. I don't think we looked over ASU this time at all. This win would have sent us to Bham. I just think that we wanted to run the ball because we knew ASU could not stop it. It would also keep the ball out of ASU's hand. Our OC refused to change his gameplan.
