They don't get it, Arvell was a liability every time he dropped back to pass. With more efficiency from the QB position both bruisers returning in the Back field and a coach that is not a pass happy HOBO this team should be better than last years. This team is better balanced on Offense than last years with a OC that will call plays that fits the strength of his QB. Not just run my plays no one can stop the HOBO like last year.

Excuse me for jumping off topic, but I had to highlight what you just said. Man, that's why I was screaming at my Big Screen and cussing our staff for not running the ball at the end of the 3rd quarter. I wanted to get yall into the 4th quarter and try to take at least 2 minutes off the clock... my reasoning was that Cole would abandon the run game and Nelson start throwing picks! (Like he did the previous year and let us win a game that was close until he turned passer).

Okay back to your point... I agree. Based on what yall have coming back as opposed to what yall lost, I really think yall will be a better team. Just my 2 cents!

Did ANYONE ever think to do a lil' bit of research and determine why those final rankings were like they were (timing and when a team lost/won)? :confused: I'm most certain PV was NOT a top-10 school when it lost 2 games in Sept '10 (Bama St and Grambling I think). Then it went on a run and then lost to JState. JState then lost to Texas South/Bama St, Gram lost to TxSU, PV won the last 4, blah blah blah.

JSU being undefeated and ranked #1 means one thing... They haven't played Grambling! We really need them on the schedule ASAP to help us get out of this mini-slump!
