Dude....we all know why TxSU and PV are always over rated in the THG polls. If you don't know why PM me and I will tell you. There is no LOGICAL reason for PV to be anywhere near the top of any poll this year. No one has given me a football reason yet. Their 3 best players are gone and Heish Northern is a dumbass. But they got exactly what they deserved this weekend. I just wish they would not have taken that QB out so soon. PV got away with one that time.

I've always thought this poll was garbage. Both basketball and football. Dude is way too much of a SWAC and Texas HBCU lover to put out a decent poll. Both Texas Schools lose both their Head Coaches and Starting QB's, yet he has them being the best schools in the SWAC. GSU was the easy pick out of the West. They only lost one FCS game last season, with a Freshman QB who didn't put up good numbers. Not going to mention how he had TnSU unranked, but had AAMU at #10. What about AAMU's offseason made him think they are better then TnSU? I don't know.

In defense of TxSU, their strength was defense and their running game, and they returned both of their top runners. The former QB was a guy who would have fans cringing every time he dropped back to pass.

Damn, last I checked Gram had a new coach who has been out of coaching for a good number of years a Freshman QB, ane his whole team may a well be freshmen because he don't know them kids from a can of paint. They are getting to kow each other, which can also be a distraction. So what makes thier situation any different from TSU's? Oh and BTW that Gram loss came to TSU's. Also, no one knows if DJ can handle the pressue of living up to daddy's legacy and playing for daddy for the long haul. Gram has a good team but they have thier own issues to address as well, so they are a contender but not the easy pic you claim. Much the same as TSU.

They don't get it, Arvell was a liability every time he dropped back to pass. With more efficiency from the QB position both bruisers returning in the Back field and a coach that is not a pass happy HOBO this team should be better than last years. This team is better balanced on Offense than last years with a OC that will call plays that fits the strength of his QB. Not just run my plays no one can stop the HOBO like last year.
