They say that SU football sucks. They also said that Nicholls St. is a better program than SU despite the fact that it is a celler dweller for the SLC. And based on the way they (Nicholls State) have manage to hang you out to dry over the years...I agree with them.

posted on a bulletin board after gram folks requested 10k for their band to come to Lake Charles.


...Only $10,000, that?s a deal. When Nicholls played Grambling last year, NSU's AD wanted their band to make the trip to Thibodaux. From what I was told by NSU staff, Grambling?s band wanted $17,000 for the trip. But here is the catcher, Grambling wanted three separate checks to be made. The checks were to be made to the following: one to the university, one to the band director and the other slips my mind, but possibly the university president. Needless to say, NSU declined their offer.

BTW, the SU band does deserve premium seats, and apparently NWLA St agreed. :D

And another thing since you said SU looks for YT approval about our band. Well that's the pot calling the kettle black. I think you know SU's band has black approval as well as YT approval. On the other hand it has been only YT that has given the World Shamed their approval. Because we all know what the black community thinks of GSU's band. ~snicker~

Anybody from gSU should be the last people talking about business. You asked Nicholls for 10k to bring your band to the game last year. They so kindly refuse and got a high school band from New Orleans to play at halftime in front of a national/regional television game. But we don't understand business. That is that fuzzy math up north. We don't need YT to validate our band, I was just repeating a comment that you were involved in on that other board. My point was that most of the black folk knows that Southern band out shine gSU, now even the yt knows too. You have tried unsucessful twice to get a state school to pay your band to travel. We don't have that problem. Seem like someone ain't taking care of their business.
 
SOG, it surprises me that you entertain these traditionless and prideless SU fans. This is the program that has won eight, ocho, 4+4, 8X1, 64000/8000 championships since 1958 (the year Icon Grambling and J-State entered the SWAC). Simply, traditionless. Our band is World-Famed; their band is state-famed. Our band has done more commercials than Budweiser. Our band is the first and only band inducted into the NCAA Hall of Champions. Our football team is known from the Masai Mara in Africa to Tokyo, Japan. And you guessed it, their football team is simly traditionless.

It is good to get all the seated customers in first, but 15 means is cutting kinda close. But it all depends on how man SRO you have.
