I swear I just had this same convo recently. :tup: Dat's ONE reason why BCC got a lot of house at the Rocket City BOTB cause the announcer was talking soooo much shat and he really had the crowd going. :nod: But even without the announcer, their show was still on point in terms of execution and energy. :tup:

If any of you come up on some 80's footage of SU and TSU, just listen to the announcer and see what a huge difference they make. :nod:

I don't think your band has a name. Not even grams band has a named...the Marching Tiger Band is NOT a name....and those names are marketable.

When AAMU first entered the SWAC i gave them a chance...Just like when UAPB came back they were not as good as they have become...I think AAMU has went a lil backwards in progress...Even Bama State had a bad year but bounced back pretty good...I can remember 98 when AAMU had a pretty good trumpet section...The show they did in baton rouge for SU Homecoming was god awful..I can just imagine what they did after that...:wavey:

NO THE QUESTION IS R U SERIOUS I WAS AT THE GAME AND I GOT THE DVD. A&M SOUNDED HORRIBLE THAT YEAR MOSTLY DO TO YALL TRUMPET SECTION. HALFTIME SHOW HAD TO BE THE WORST.

DRUMMAJORS OPEN WITH "DANCING MACHINE" AND ONE HAD ON A GREY JUMPSUIT, THE OTHER THREE HAD ON THOSE WINDBREAKERS LOL, IT WAS HORRIBLE..YALL DANCING GIRLS DANCED TO "LIKE I LOVE YOU" BY JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE AN OK ARRANGEMENT BUT THE BAND SOUNDED HORRIBLE. THE REST OF THE SHOW WAS HORRIBLE..EVEN THE FAT DUDE THAT CAME OUT LOOKING LIKE BRUCE BRUCE AND DANCED IN FRONT OF YALL DIDNT GET NO HOUSE.. THAT SHOW SUCKED AND YALL SOUNDED BAD.

DURING THE GAME THE BEST THING ABOUT IT WAS THE ESPN BATTLE. YALL PLAYED A POO VERSION OF "PARTY DONT STOP" AND "BIG BALLIN". JSU KILLED THE STANDS WITH "GET HIGH" BY JADAKISS, "STILL FLY" BIGTYMERS, "HOT IN HERE" NELLY ETC.

5TH QUARTER - THE BEST SONG PLAYED WAS FROM JSU WHEN THEY PLAYED MUSIQ SOULCHILD'S "LATELY. YALL PLAYED "BOOGIE WONDERLAND" NEVER TOO MUCH" ETC, AND NONE OF THAT MESS SOUNDED GOOD. I DONT POST STUFF THAT I HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF. IF YOU NEED TO BORROW MY DVD YOU CAN LMAO
 
Is this still the thread about A&M needing a new director?? I haven't seen any post of such for a good minute! Just checking!!

I remember a number of people from jsu that personally told me that yall took an L. I dont need a video, I can just use my memory. Just bcause your band takes an L it doesnt mean that it is the end of the world.:no:

Bull****.... yall took an L. Everybody at the stadium said the same thing (except you I guess)... JSU folks have taked about that game on here plenty of times.... I dont need a video, I was there.

NO THANKS HOMEBOI, I HAVE MY OWN FOOTAGE WITH MY OWN VIDEO CAM AND YOUR FOLKS ON THERE ADMITTING THE "L"! GET OVER IT MY BOI, WE WERE TOO MUCH FOR YOU THAT DAY!! "L", THEY HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!!!
 
I WAS THERE AND GOT THE FOOTAGE (PROFESSIONAL FOOTAGE AT THAT) LIKE I SAID A&M SOUNDED HORRIBLE IN 02, AND THAT FIELDSHOW WAS GARBAGE AS ISHT. JSU COULD OF LEFT THE FIELD AFTER THEY OPENED UP WITH THE SUPERMAN FANFARE AND STILL CREASED THAT MESS A&M PUT OUT. YALL MUST OF BEEN DRUNK IF YALL THOUGHT A&M SOUNDED SOMEWHAT DECENT DURING THAT GAME LMAO
