Ya'll got TSU on tap 11/1 then Ala St that next week. Now TSU may come to "ruston" and beat yall!! And if that happens?? Once we destripe TSU, then we'll be in the driver seat TAKIN back what you've been keepin lukewarm for the past 3 years.
SCG is a mere formailty. All grumblin fans want is the classic and a title. Can't seem to get both...well not since 2001. Also, with aamu beating ala st, don't think that they'll take you lightly!! So I one bit of advice, win the rest of your games then we'll see who'll be heading to BIRMINGham. I guarantee you 10/25 will all be in the past once we HOIST that SWAC title trophy in BIRMINGham, while doug and the other grumblin elves watch from the comforts of their own home!!! One loss wont make or break us. That one loss eases YOUR feebile little minds. You concentrate on your other 3 games we'll do the same and in 32 days, let the chips fall as they may!!!

Let me help you two before you make complete arses out of yourself. DonTiger is right. You are not 2-0 in divisional play. You are 4-1 and in 2nd place. Ya'll are probably thinking the same way most of us were thinking when the divisional thing first came up. The thought was that the only games which count in divisional play are games against western division teams. That?s not so. There are inter-divisional games that count in divisional standings (i.e. Southern versus both Bama schools). If you follow the link below you will see, IN BOLD, which games count and which ones don't (i.e. Southern versus Valley).

Prior to the schedule being released, each team has three inter-divisional games selected by the SWAC office to count as a divisional game (ofcourse games played against fellow west division members count in the divisional standings). Each team has 7 divisional games total when you add the three interdivisional games to your 4 games against western division opponents. If you look at the schedule, you will see that these games count for Southern:
Prarie View A&M
Alabama State
Arkansas-Pine Bluff
Alabama A&M
Alcorn State
Texas Southern
Grambling State
These games didn?t count for Southern in division standings:
Mississippi Valley State
Jackson State
Jax

And all of this is water under the bridge right now. Apparently SU has you scared or something to pulll this up. Intimidated by SU or something?? I guess you are greatful to alcorn for defeating Southern because "grum" is for now "undefeated" in the SWAC. Does this change things come 11/29? No. Does this means that the season is over for SU or for that matter any SWAC school? NO. It shows me that you guys probablly needed the "outside" help from another school to find a way to help you in anyway possible. I am not knocking alcorn. They came to play, SU didn't. BUT, if it does not break you it makes you stronger!!!
This changes nothing because granted if both teams win their games leading to the winner-take-all Bayou Classic. Still does not change the fact that gamblin fans are not taking these other 3 games seriously because all ya'll are concerned is the BC.
