Even after all the stuff with Paula Deen, Phil Robertson, Donald Sterling and others, folks STILL don't understand that there are consequences for what is said and written.

I don't get it. I simply don't get how so many people can be this dense.

I was utterly grossed out watching Micheal Sam and his boyfriend but I do understand that when you are a public figure certain stuff you cant say....Once you make the money these guys make and sign yourself over to a large organization you lose that freedom to say whatever you want.

You can say whatever you want. But you just have to deal with potential consequences that go along with those statements.

And there was nothing derogatory about Jones's remarks(OMG and horrible)...to deem fining and suspension...Player Union better get a hold on leagues foolishness before there is no league left after the lawsuits!

Come on now!!! Gay or straight, you know the NFL expects all its players not to say anything negative about their sweet brethens coming from the SEC. The NFL is just like a fraternity and they expects all their players to be one big happy family. Players from the SEC didn't see a problem with Michael Sam, since they had to play against him. I bet some future draftee, particular from a SEC school will be kind enough to invite Michael Sam and his friend/future spouse over to his house to meet his mother. :lol: :emlaugh:

He didn't lose any rights... he just can't express it as a member of the Dolphins. He could appeal, though.

Seriously though, no smack talk...........every team has players somewhere no their roster that can PLAY in a Super Bowl......winning one is a different story. It's how that team is coached, managed, run.....etc. Cowboys are poor in those areas. How are you saying that you have a solid OL all of a sudden? You haven't even this group play solid yet. Solid maybe on paper but they have yet to be solid on the field. Your team is way behind the curve. What you fail to realize is that even if you did get some depth, the teams that are WAY better than you now ALSO just got more depth. And let's be real, Cole Beasley is not a game changer......Escobar still has a long way to go. Here's the thing with the Cowboys.......Romo probably has 2 SOLID years left.......he can play 3-4, but SOLID years....2 at best. You'll soon be without a QB, without Witten.......with that being said, you're not set to make a playoff run against the top teams in the NFC in the next 2 years. These teams now are built solid and YOUNG and will be around for a long time.....because they're run the right way. Jerry has screwed this thing up......by the time you get decent again.....your veterans will be headed out the door. Trust me, NOBODY is scared of Dallas.

I hope he would (him and the NFLPA) but I doubt it because it would look like they are taking up for Jones "derogatory" tweets (which were the same as Case McCoy's in which all he tweeted was "terrible") and we know the NFL being all gay friendly don't want that.

So what you are saying is that Emmett Till's murder, the death of the little girls in the Alabama church bombing, Megar Evers death and Martin Luther kings assassination is the equivalent to two men smearing cake on each other and kissing in the mouth? Because what Paula and Donald said things about blacks in which I was born Black and cant do any thing about but as a man I can choose the direction my wiener goes.

Y'all acting like Mike Sam gonna play in the league for 15 years or something. If the NFL can move Tebow out, they damn sho can move Mike Sam out..give it 2-3 seasons. Hell, he might even make the active roster.

Michael Sam is one dumb azz dude bruh. He is the only SEC defensive player of the year to not get drafted in the 1st round in about 10 years. Even if not the 1st round, he could have easily went in the 2nd or 3rd given his production in the SEC. Look how many sorry azz defensive linemen who didn't do shat in college but got drafted ahead of him. All he had to do was keep his damn mouth shut. Now fast forward to the NFL draft and this batch finally gets drafted. Instead of acting tough and masculine like a man and NFL player, he showed the world how much of a sissy he really was. All that batch needed was a skirt and red pumps. His little white boyfriend seems to be the tough one. I just don't see how this batch is going to survive in the NFL.

He was so slow to where he earned defensive player of the year in the SEC. Man that counts for something. Production trumps everything. The main reason he dropped was because he came out as being gay. Plain and simple.

Sam split SEC defensive player of the year honors with CJ Mosely from Alabama (who was drafted No. 17 overall by the Ravens)...strange stuff happens when coaches and others vote on postseason honors...thought y'all knew that from All-SWAC teams...

Also, all but three of Sam's sacks came in three games ... he was getting slaughtered by the scouts on consistency and what not and was graded to be a late-round pick BEFORE he came out ... then he ran that slow ass 4.91/40-yard dash at the combine

Sam was also an All-American selection. But you right his size and lack of speed worked against him.

Yeah but he earned defensive player of year against some bad SEC east opponents. They didn't play Bama, LSU and lost to Auburn where he had 2 tackles, no sacks and against A&M he had 1 tackle and 0.5 sacks. He may not even make the roster.

Typically yeah it is when you have Florida playing it's best ball. They have fallen off since Urban left. Lately the SEC West and sometimes Georgia/ South Carolina carry the conference.

So basically, when he was lined up against Auburn's Greg Robinson (No. 2 overall pick) and aTm's Jake Matthews (No. 6 overall pick) ... Michael Sam didn't do jack squat.
