So he is in cahoots with Carlos Brown.. explains it all.

I guess it never appeared to any of you that maybe the poll maker sees something in the young men Southern has coming up, the additions they made, the schedule they have or ANY of that.

Maybe he doesn't believe as highly in Bama State's coach? Maybe he's been watching gaining information from everyone and NOT just from the SWACPage for his poll. Maybe's it's because he damn well pleases (like TP)?

But like JR said, no team that was ever 4-7 could ever make a comeback the next year ..... NONE. So, whatcha worried about?

JSU was 3-7 and went 8-3 the next year. We know it can happen but I seriously doubt that we were here braggin on what a 3-7 team was gonna do. However, we made our changes by bringing in new coaches and new players. Your players are not that good. Experienced? YES.. good.. NO.

I believe that same question could or should be asked about Jackson St.

Why? We return about 15 starters from a 7-5 team. We have gone 8-3, 9-2 and 7-5 in the last 3 years. We might go 2-9 but based on the success of our team, we should be highly ranked in the preseason! We also won 5 games in a row before losing in OT in Bham. To the contray, SU lost 4 of their last 5 and the game they won was vs a 1-10 team by 5 points.

You haven't won anything outside of the Swac and haven't won a Swac championship in years. Bama AAMU has the best record hands down in the SWAC over the past three years. Some of JSU's key players like the rest of the SWAC hasn't PLAYED one down in college.

Secondly, SU does have the best talent in the SWAC.

Hands down? Look dude.. what are pre-season polls based off? Let's not get all ignorant. You are just talkin to be talkin now... On top of that, JSU is 3-0 vs AAMU in the last three years. Yes, BAMA State has beat us recently but they lost more than we did and there is not ONE projected starter on our team who has not played a down of college football. If so, name him. Will we play some freshmen this year? Yes, we played some last year too. A part of our excitement is that it was the YOUNG guys who replaced some of the seniors toward the end of the season that helped to spark our turnaround.

Also, this is a BCF poll so how does your first statement make any sense.

Ok, we all have our opinions,.. if SU has the most talent, fine. But to this point, that talent and that staff have not been able to win. So the talent they have is pointless.

SU beat JSU last year, and gonna beat again this year. See you in OCT after your 2-5 start.

Wow...you just made up some stuff didnt you? YOu dont really mean this right?
AAMU is 18-14 over the past 3 years
ASU is 21-12
JSU is 24-10, with 3 dominating wins over AAMU
Come on man...you have to do better than that. Hands down?
Dont speak with so much emotion

The hatred has been the manifest for years.. LOL get used to it.

Jackson St makes it easy. Of the 88 post here, most are from JSU fans talking loud and saying nothing like they have done for the last 11 years, that there has been a Swacpage.

I don't think ONE sentence in his whole post was true or relevant. The hate!

Pow? Why is this a POW?

This is a pow because it explains why SU is in the top 10. There is no logical FOOTBALL explanation for SU being in the top 10. Like I said earlier, this has nothing to do with football, only politics. If he has partnered with Carlos, in BatonRouge, he has to put SU on the list. It just makes the show better and gets the listeners more involved and excited about the season.

But it does dilute the "integrity" of the poll. I would be ashamed to sell myself out like this to be on a show. No other legit poll has SU anywhere near the top 10. You cant be a consistent perennial loser and then all of a sudden be in any decent top 10 PRESEASON poll. The partnership with Carlos explains SUs position. I just hate that my man had to sell out like this

Sho yu right.:bump:

I guess that is why AAMU went to Bham in 2011 and JSU went in 2012. When AlaState went in 2010, they won the tiebreaker with JSU. JSU has been to Bham 3 out of the last 6 years. ASU has been once.. AAMU has been twice. \

At some point, we have to play fair when we post things. :lecture:

What? Are you typing in your sleep or something? Before you type, count to 10 or something.

So you cant attack the merits of the numbers huh? You REACHED to me being in hibernation?
Where were you when Gram went 1-10?
