As far as the Majors I think it's safe to say those are the top 10 teams. I would have a different order though...
 



Southern dropped 4 of their last 5 games and get a ranking of 7 above a team that finished ranked higher than them and a team with a much better record.......I am not understanding the math.

We are the Rodney Dangerfield of HBCU. NO RESPECT in the preseason polls. We have the most players on everyone’s 1st team preseason teams. Yet ranked no higher then #3. Hmmmmm. All good. We will be #1 after week 1.

Damn, how did that happen? Dr. Cavil either must be from southern or he hates Bama State. Don't know how he came up with the formula to rank su above them.

See, I was going to wait til next week to drop the PRECISION POLL.. but let me go ahead and post. I honestly thought that polls would not be released until Sunday or Monday as usual but oh well.

That's Jafus' poll?! This makes the rankings even worse cause he HAS to know they can't be better than Bama State. Wow!!

I sure would like for him to explain how he came about placing Bama State below that school.
 
I could have sworn this is a new year....LOL What Bama State one point win last year has to do with this year is beyond me.

lol You know what I mean! How many times the pre-season #1 finished #1 at the end of the season? Believe me from what I've seen with our team they are clicking on all cylinders! But it's different when you meet everybody's best each week! We are ready!!!

All articles and opinions are slanted to one person or another. The only that matters is the scoreboard when the clock says 0:00.
 



Southern????? No way a 4 win team should be in the top 10.... I don't care who they return... They return players from a 4 win team! Also what did PV do to five them a top 10 ranking? PB is the only West team that deserves a ranking.
 
That's why I don't understand these polls...teams with better records half-way don't get in, and teams with losing records are ranked VERY high. I think one thing that is a key factor is signing classes and how people FEEL they will do this year.
 
I request that SU be removed from this poll. We should be ranked someplace below Grambling and Savannah State.

I am starting to like you AAMU people..well you and Blankman25 anyway... Don't let people from Southern hear you say that. They say they were almost a 7 or 8 win team. I say, they were lucky not to be a 2-win team last year.

Dude...SU hasnt lost a game in 3 years. They just didnt have enough time to score more points than the other team.
