That's beside the point. Thanks to the seven game mandate, you backdoored your way into the SCG several times after JSU blew yall off the field. We played SU (when they were decent) and Grambling, while yall played the likes of PV and Texas Southern when they weren't good at all.
We've been to the SCG three times. We can't help it if Alcorn and Valley hasn't stepped up to the plate.
Interesting...most Bulldog fans will tell you that Mason is not even our best QB....:lecture::quiet:![]()
Comegy is 3-2 vs barlow as a head coach. His 1st year as HC was 2007. He'll soon be 3-3.
stop lying.... SU we was kicking Southern ass before and after we stopped playing them. We had like a 4 or 5 game winning streak against SU. So my question is what years was SU "decent" that we didnt play them.
This was during Pete's glory years. You figure out the rest. JSU was like 3-0 against AAMU, but since you had that weak schedule, you slipped by eventhough JSU blew yall off the field. Don't have me pull up the stats.
PLEASE pull up stats.... what "weak" schedule? We didnt play SU... a team who we had dominated during that period. so yes please pull up stats. YOU had problems with SU... AAMU didnt have problems with SU.
DaHill, In 2002 JSU lost to Grambling and BAMA State and ya'll lost to Grambling and JSU but your loss to Grambling didn't count so you had a 6-1 conference record and we had a 5-2 conference record. The first time you went to Bham (2000), you lost to JSU, SU and Grambling.
DaHill, ya'll didn't dominate nobody during your first four years in the SWAC. You were something like 0-4 vs JSU, 0-4 vs GSU, and 1-3 vs Southern. But you went to Bham 2 times in the period.
Aye TP and JayRob answer this for me, while we were in BHM playing the SCG, where was JSU fans and players? Thanks!!! Sore losers!!!
I don't want to get too far off topic but since this is related to SWAC standings and you asked, here goes:
1999-2002, JSU and Robert Hughes went 4-0 against AAMU, then james b*ll came on the scene.
10-23-1999
JSU 28
Alabama A&M

11-04-2000
JSU 34
Alabama A&M

JSU 26

Anything else you need to know?
What point did you prove? Who did JSU LOSE to those years?????

they haven't beat bama state since they got all their scholarships back 2 years ago.
JayRob... we only went to the SWAC Championship 2 of those years.

maybe you can blame your loss to gram on him, but your loss to ASU didn't come down to him dropping the "game winning touchdown"
:scared:
THERRIAULT,Ca. pass incomplete to DREWERY,E.J..
did GR know that the game wasn't tied and it was not a "game winning TD", can GR tell how much time was left? and since GR is pulling the stats from that game, can GR count how many INTs Casey threw that day, does GR think the INTs played any part of does GR just want to blame the L on one incomplete pass?GR knows the facts mean nothing to you
Last season we went 4-7, but they lost games against JSU, FAMU, PV, and UAPB due to not being able to finish in the 4th quarter and not having a reliable option for kicking FGs. With a good S&C program in place and more depth and experience on the team, those issues should be taken care of. I believe we also have a FG kicker now. Fix just those 2 problems and we win probably 7-8 games last season.
The talent is there, and the team showed flashes of being a good team last season. I believe that the team can build on the positives from last season and make a push for a good season. So with more depth, experience, better conditioning, and better special teams, the team will be in better position to win those close games.
Yes, the team could easily fall flat on its face and have a horrible season, but they have just as much a chance to make a run at the championship.
btw, an incomplete pass with time and possessions still remaining aint "dropping the game winning TD".
Dropping the game winning TD is what Thumbs Story did a few years ago.

GR,Again...I knew you werent interested in the truth.
