stop lying.... SU we was kicking Southern ass before and after we stopped playing them. We had like a 4 or 5 game winning streak against SU. So my question is what years was SU "decent" that we didnt play them.

This was during Pete's glory years. You figure out the rest. JSU was like 3-0 against AAMU, but since you had that weak schedule, you slipped by eventhough JSU blew yall off the field. Don't have me pull up the stats.

PLEASE pull up stats.... what "weak" schedule? We didnt play SU... a team who we had dominated during that period. so yes please pull up stats. YOU had problems with SU... AAMU didnt have problems with SU.

DaHill, In 2002 JSU lost to Grambling and BAMA State and ya'll lost to Grambling and JSU but your loss to Grambling didn't count so you had a 6-1 conference record and we had a 5-2 conference record. The first time you went to Bham (2000), you lost to JSU, SU and Grambling.

DaHill, ya'll didn't dominate nobody during your first four years in the SWAC. You were something like 0-4 vs JSU, 0-4 vs GSU, and 1-3 vs Southern. But you went to Bham 2 times in the period.

It's amazing how they can remember how many times they beat Bama State all the way back to 1990, but when it comes to JSU, they get selective amnesia.
AAMU will finish third in the East this year unless Alcorn plays above average.

WOW.. a whole two years.. and with about 10 interceptions between two games, they barely won both. :lol: This year will be very different. AlaState can't beat JSU either and with the way their APR is headed, they will be down a few schollies again very soon.

His point tho is that you never beat JSU during that time and that you had a ball or two to bounce your way to help you get to Bham.. like your GSU loss in 2002 not counting and in 2000, you got PV (1-11). We didn't. If we had played PV, I am sure we could have beat them. Instead we took a loss.
But that's the chance you take in 7 game formats. If we were under the 9 game format then, AAMU never would have gone to Bham.. it would have been JSU in 1999, 2000, and 2002 with Bama State going in 2001. This is why Hughes was upset with the 7 game format. It cost him his job. He kept beating ya'll but you would get lucky by playing PV when they were "PV" or by your GSU loss not counting when ours did.

He is talking early on with SU. From 99 to 2005 time frame. AAMU didn't dominate SU during that time.

did GR know that the game wasn't tied and it was not a "game winning TD", can GR tell how much time was left? and since GR is pulling the stats from that game, can GR count how many INTs Casey threw that day, does GR think the INTs played any part of does GR just want to blame the L on one incomplete pass?

Here is something I dont understand. For years GR has been saying that SU would be a loser because you didnt have an off season program. Folks like JR would say yall didnt need one and that your players are working out on their own and they were interning. But now that yall have that lightskinneded chick working with your players, you guys think you have elevated above everyone else. The only thing you have done is even the playing field with everyone else. You are no better...you are doing what everyone else has been doing for yeeears now.
And you are counting wins in the 4 that you probably wont win this year. Can you really say that you will beat A&M or BamaState this year? Are you counting those as victories? You are also counting close loses as wins this year, yet you are not counting close wins as loses. As usual, I feel you are being a total SU homer. Without Evans your offense is going to be much worse this year.
And did Lyvonia bring in any more coaches? You guys have been mighty quiet over there unlike 2 years ago when yall had the guy that tackled the blah blah blah and the guy who had the #1 high school blah blah blah....Remember the greatest coaching staff in FCS???
