2011-12 FBS Bowl Season

83,
stop crying. The national championship SHOULD be between the 2 best teams. Stop trying to act as if the 2 best teams can't be from the same conference.

good job BCS!!

No need to read further than that.
Anybody that don't follow the sheep herd is crying............ Gotcha.

or hating....

Yep.

Not hard to see how the "masses" swallow any system of bullshat that is thrown out by the powers that be. FBS FOOTBALL only sport in the United States of America that crowns a so-called champion without the use of a playoff format. Amazing how the NCAA has all these "working playoff models" out there and are PROVEN to work, WON'T WORK FOR FBS.........(thats the lie they keep telling anyway.)

Did you just figure that one out?
seems that you're crying, errr, I mean hating (thanks Phreeze) just for the hell of it.

Another reason this farce called the BCS is garbage. The BCS got more hypocrisey than anything I know.

As for Boise not winning their conference, Alabama is playing in the biggest BCS game of them all without winning their conference. Funny how you got to be a conference winner in one case but it don't matter in another case involving the same BCS system and rules. :smh:

That is the BCS rule on teams NOT in the automatic qualifying conferences. Boise signed up for that and knew the rule coming in. If they beat TCU and lose to a different conference foe they're in. But they lost to the BEST team in their conference (who lost twice before that).

Southern Miss or TCU could have been in a BCS game if they had ended up ranked 16 or higher.

No need to argue. You want to continue to quote me just for the sake of arguing this meaningless BCS cause, then go for it. I see people love to be fed stinking bullshat and then ask for seconds without even asking why the food smells like shat.

Stop calling this farce a fair, national championship process. Call it what it is. A popularity contest for only 3 conferences plus Notre Dane if they ever rise up to be anything again.

Did Boise have a choice after getting butt fugged by the BCS for 3 str8 undefeated years before changing conferences? :goof:

There are no playoffs in FBS. Hate the BCS or love the BCS. But the BCS got this one right. The two best teams in the country playing for the title. The way it should be.
thanks, I will enjoy it.

This is like having a tape or CD set to repeat :headphone: C'mon Phrat! This Bama Bias is so strong lol I hope LSU beat the shat out of Bama and I don't care for LSU.

The game between Bama and LSu is going to be the highest watched and rated game ever in the BCS. It is going to rake in billions of dollars. Smart business move. Although I hate the SEC, if I were rich, i would have made this happen also.

Worse thing that ever happened to College Football. Enjoy

This is how it would have been if they were under the old system:

LSU to Sugar Bowl

OkState to the Orange Bowl (or Cotton or Fiesta)

Oregon vs Wisconsin in Rose Bowl

They probably would have put Bama in either the Orange Bowl or Fiesta

I'm actually not mad at the SEC. I respect the conference. I respect the conference for introducing a playoff in the mid-90s.

We should be upset with B1G head honcho Jim Delany. He's called the most powerful man in college football. If he's not on board with a playoff, it won't happen even though Delany said he KNOWS creating a playoff will bring in money not seen in the history of college football.

Oh, and if you want to call BCS executive director Bill Hancock, here is his cell number: (913) 219-1924 (straight from the BCS media guide).

Yeah. That's the old traditional bowl system.

Virginia Tech has to be the most over hyped team every year next to Ohio State...Man they never live up to the hype...They suck arse...

Hey they played in BCS games before. Beat OU (wouldn't have beaten Florida that year)... Beat TCU (Bama was tops that year).

They haven't had 3 straight undefeated years.

Michigan State has more of a gripe than Arkansas. They finished ahead of Michigan in the Legends Division, but the Wolverines go to a BCS bowl game without even playing in the B1G Championship Game.

Yep. They fugged over Michigan State based on rankings. And fugged over Baylor. RG3 should be in a BCS bowl game in my opinion. Baylor got some good wins.

K-State would have a bigger gripe than Baylor. They beat Baylor and had a better record.
