2005-06 Bowl Schedule

I hope Notre Dane get's the snot beat out of them. This is why I hate it when Notre Dane has even a "decent" season. :xeye:

The NCAA is all about money and who can bring it in. Talk about athelete's getting a share of the revenue they bring in and the crit's start yelling that "fair play, student athelete" crap...................BULLSHAT!! :xeye:

This is a multi-billion dollar BUSINESS. Time they treated the WORKERS fairly since picking ND over OREGAN was about $MONEY$ instead of FAIR PLAY. :look:

Oregon did not get ripped off, they're right where they're supposed to be, in the bowl for the 2nd place team in the Pac-10. Don't let that 10-1 record fool you, they aren't as good as Notre Dame or Ohio State, who got the at large BCS bids. They benefitted from playing in a weaker conference and having a pretty weak non-conference schedule overall. They wouldn't have gone 9-2 playing either Ohio State's or Notre Dame's schedule.

ALAMO BOWL
San Antonio
Dec. 28, 8 p.m. (ESPN) Michigan (7-4) vs. Nebraska (7-4)

There was a time not long ago a Michigan-Nebraska bowl matchup would have meant something..... :redhot:

OREGON and other BCF teams got ripped off the second these CLOWN's decided that NOTRE DANE was a CONFERENCE by themselves. All they have to do is finish somewhere in the top 6 or 7.

OREGAN got screwed for TV ratings.
As far as OREGAN not being 9-2 playing ND schedule........... :look: ..............are you nut's?!?

OREGAN has played basically the same schedule USC has played and since when did BYU, SYRACUSE, and NAVY put fear in anyone eye's except for obviously Notre Dane?

Props must be given to the Peach Bowl Selection Committe:

#10 Miami
#9 LSU

( I believe this is 1 of only 3 top 10 match ups......not bad for a non BCS bowl)

Interesting enough I think this bowl was designed for the #3 ACC team and the #5 SEC team.........looked like some bowls snubbed LSU.
