LOOK AT THE RECORDS OF THE TEAMs IN YOUR DIVISION....it is not that hard. Yall barely going to the scg, hanging by the skin of your teeth depending on pv and everybody else to take you there. Hell, you even begged mightyjsu.

How is that? When we have controlled our own destiny from jump street?

Nobody was begging JSU or anybody else. We said the same thing your own posters were asking SU to do. Put some distance between us and the second place team. Ain't like we need somebody to beat PV. All we need to do is win 1 more SWAC game of the 2 left no matter what PV does. They are the ones who need us to lose both games while winning their own 2. Right now they are Bama State and Gram fans. Nothing they can do but hope both teams beat SU.

But we haven't lost a conference game.... we have REALLY been in the driver's seat. You are clinging to a head to head match-up since you lost twice. We didn't need anybody to do anything to be honest. We wanted some breathing room by you beating alcorn but as you can see, you didn't come through. But ok jr, you are right, I am wrong.

No we are not clinging to a head to head match up. We are 1 game up on PV. We would have to lose 1 more to be tied. We are in the same boat you are in. You beat Bama State head to head and they are 1 game behind you, essentially 2. The same as SU is over PV. We beat them and they have 3 losses in the conference and we have 2. 1 game lead. Being undefeated in the SWAC does not give you guys any better opportunity. You still need to win 1 more game out of your two because ASU has not lost since you guys beat them. You win on Saturday and it is official. We win on Saturday and it is official. You just have an easier road to winning that one more this weekend by playing AAMU. If they upset you. Then you have NO CHOICE but to beat Alcorn in the Soul bowl if Bama State beats SU this weekend. Same for us. If we lose to ASU and PV beats Alcorn. We have no choice but to win against Gram unless PB upsets PV later.

The West will not be won (or lost) until the Bayou Classic. :read: Got a whole month before this thing is sorted out.

Actually you do match up well with them...I just dont think you have the QB to do it. Your QB cant stand pressure
and BamaState will put a lot of pressure on Dray from the defensive line and they blitz a lot. Your linemen wont be
able to block them and they definitely wont be able to handle ASUs blitz. But if Dray can get the ball out of his hands
quickly to the outside players, you could make this a game. I just think Dray is going to make too many mistakes for
SU to pull this game off.

Now if you had Lovelock or Smiley, yall could win....but not with Dray

Well ole Les might win now that Saban's agent done told SI that the pressure is getting to him in Alabama and he might take the Texas job. I see they hired ole Steve Patterson the Rockets ole GM when they won back to back titles to be their AD. Hope he got smarter as an AD at Arizona State than he did when he was a basketball GM. So maybe LSU will catch Saban slipping this weekend as he ponders Austin.

Crowell didn't run wild last year. I am more worried about the other RB than Crowell. He will run a couple of plays and then head back to the sideline with a hangnail or something. Cyrus is the one we have to contain. We ain't good at run defense. But we ain't as bad as we were earlier this year. Time for Dray to have a big game.
