It took only two plays from Kennedy to Eugene Johnson that covered 66 yards and the endzone. The hornets racked up 531 yards of total offense and Kennedy threw for 208 yards and three touchdowns. The hornets just wanted a win and ran the ball for nearly 300 yards. Kennedy came out of the game in the fourth quarter to allow others to play. He could have easily thrown for more than 500 yards and five touchdowns. It was "Student Connection Day" at Crampton Bowl and a large number of students attened the game from different parts of Bama and Georgia.

T-Day, Embassy Suites.

,,, yeah, yeah Hornetswarm. so Hornetswarm/Ole Hornet/any ASUer in the Montgomery area and/or familiar with the scenario; will the Embassy Suites be the staging point again this year? was a lot of ASU mugz at La Sal Blue last year talking BIG noise before the game. Skegee mugz was outnumbered, but we had a good time running smack and throwing back a few cold ones with the ASU faithful.

Bartram,

Same time. Same place.

Bartram - I dont know if I will make it to this year's TDC, but if I do, I will see you at the Embassy Suites. :D :D :D

So, CAU AD's declined to play Stillman for the 2001 season and decided to play Bama St? Obviously they were not looking for this to be a good game. There was something else in mind. Well, I heard it was almost 20,000 in attendance. At first, I thought it was the 37-0 embarrassment Stillman put on them. Now I see different.

According to the official box score issued to Clark Atlanta and the Office of the SIAC, the attendance was 10,421 and not 19,400. Somebody is falsifying the attendance.

On the news and in the newspaper here in mobile, they said it
was over 19,000.

WELL, IT WILL BE A HARD SELLOUT ON THANKSGIVING DAY IN THE "GUMP."

ASU 42
TU 7
BELIEVE IT!!!!

TU holds big lead in overall series and the TDC series

SERIES HISTORY: TU vs. ASU

This is the 88th meeting between Tuskegee (8-1) and Alabama State (7-2) since the series started in 1901. Tuskegee defeated Alabama State 37-0 in the 1901 game. TU leads the overall series 52-31-4 and TU also leads the Turkey Day Classic series 40-29-3. Tuskegee, defending HBCU National Champion, has won four out of the last five meetings between the two teams. The first Turkey Day Football Classic was played in 1924 at Cramton Bowl. TU and ASU did not play in 1971, 1986, 1987, 1991 and 1992. Last year's 12-0 record by TU was the first by an HBCU since 1946.

It is obvious that the ASUers owe you an appology, a retraction,, OR SOMETHING IN DIS MUG.

Slick, Giggly, Will Defer Smack Commentary. Can You Address Issue?

Judging from your replies, an emphatic "NO!" would be the answer to that rhetorical question.

Your replies are typical and just about what I expected from yall mugz. Later for the smack gents. Either you can address the 10,421=19,400 translation, or you can't. It's very simple gentlemen. Was it a faux pas on your man's part? Let's give dude the benefit of the doubt and assume the answer is "yes" to that question. Just acknowledge it, give TUSports props for correcting your man on it,,, and move on.

Umm actually your man is quite wrong. There were 19,400 at the game, not 10,400. The question is......could TU even fill half the stadium?:emlaugh:

ummm,,, your SWAC official attendance say differently.

The official SWAC stats reported 10,421. Why the big difference?
