Spring cleaning at "The Valley"

Go Valley!!!According to the video, fans of MVSU football can expect a new turf football field and jumbotron added to Rice-Totten Stadium at Chuck Prophet Field, the 10,000-seat multi-purpose stadium that opened in 1958 as Magnolia Stadium and was renamed in 2000 in honor of former Mississippi Valley State football players Jerry Rice and Willie Totten, who set several NCAA Division I-AA records during their time in Itta Bena, MS in the 1980s.
In addition to the football upgrades, MVSU announced the resurfacing of its tennis courts, new signage, and school-colored metal panels for the Baseball/Softball pavilion. The Baseball/Softball pavilion will also get a roof overhang for rain protection, open-end bays for ventilation, and chainlink panels with vinyl baseball windscreen.

It was an advantage as teams felt so unmotivated to play on that field and it showed in the 1st half. Then they would wake up and win the game us included. Now we gone start the game good on a nice field whooping they arse. LOL

Just kind of putting this out there but don't be surprised to hear about a push to get rid of Briggs
The same toxic atmosphere that was present when Bynum was president is there with Briggs with a bunch of incompetent moves that have continued to pile up over the past year or so. Some recent firings on top of Hakim and Director of Admissions resigning have many people wanting him gone. Just a matter of when....

There's been so much going on that I wanted to wait until the big shoe dropped (Briggs resigning or being fired)
That day will eventually come and he knows it which is why he applied for the Texas College job and was a finalist until the Bonds stuff happened and he withdrew his name because he knew of Bonds past with sexual assault of students (including the conviction at DSU) but not only hired him anyway but made him a VP and was #2 at Valley. He was caught with another student on the back road by the Sheriff's Department in March which is why he resigned
Title IX violations in plain sight. Professional band students. Money diverted from athletics to the band. That's enough to get him fired but there's so much more that has to be kept on the low for now
Don't know if this on the AD or Briggs but they're actively phasing out the Devilettes mascot in plain sight with no explanation
