How sweet it is! Jags defend their title. As I said before, a healthy Jaguar baseball team is a dangerous team. So many of our guys in the starting rotation were hurt most of the season and only recently returned. But hats off to JSU for a very competitive game and an excellent season. I know what it must feel like to go undefeated in regular season and then lose the one game that means the most. I've been there! But CONGRATS to my SOUTHERN JAGUARS! You have made us proud once again!

Our best pitcher didn’t pitch the entire tournament. Hope he is healthy for the NCAA tournament.

I believe that depends on who RPI you're looking at. If memory serves me correctly that S.U. team was ranked around 30th in the country. It's easy to find an off-brand RPI rating.

We played a lot of people all season. This team underachieved during the regular season, because it’s no way in hell we were suppose to finish 3rd. Our coach was learning on the job and he made mistake after mistake during the regular season. He finally put it together. I’m proud
