Southern Jags: 2021 Baseball SWAC Champs








That was definitely a good game. Seems like Jackson State should have stuck with the black pitcher. The other two didn't do anything worth talking about.
 
I would like to thank the Panthers of Prairie View AM.......

I believe their 2-1 victory, more importantly their celebration with the Gatorade bath after the walk off Thursday really woke up the Jaguars.

I guess they forgot that the tournament is double elimination until the championship. Hahahaha

Dude, you're clueless. There is no proper leadership in place for PV baseball to win consistently over the last duration. That "2-1" fluke was an overachievement and those of us honest purplers know that.

Run along and do like the others celebrating SU's first and only championship this past season lol. That annual 9th place commish cup finish tells the whole story of your "athletic program." :D lol

Ey man let me know when the presentation of the Commissioners cup will be televised for our viewing pleasure and I'll post a clip of us carrying the SWAC baseball championship back home to Baton Rouge with the other 27 we have.....


You right we have a poor athletic program that PV has hired their women's basketball coach and our former assistant football coach from.

PV will always be PeeeeVeeee and play like they are a Peewee team..... Only takes Southern to hang football scores on PV in baseball games bwhahaha.

Got more respect for JSU and its fans. At least Jackson state makes it to the championship games in the major 3 sports before they choke. PV does nothing when it really matters and think they are relevant because they now have coordinating colors on their uniforms and On campus facilities. Just be glad you guys are now competing with the rest of the Swac that has been competing for decades.

Nothing but love here. I support my SU both with attendance, financial contributions, positive words, recruiting in my line of work, and anything else.

I'll do it for any HBCU or any young kid that's interested in attending or trying to find employment coming from any HBCU to be honest. I understand the true struggle and fight out side of the athletic smack talking when it comes to swac sports. Its all good my brother. I love being here in Texas and I love my home state of Louisiana as well.

AT THE END OF THE DAY........WE are the champions. Get that Pit warm, meat on the grill, prayers to all those who lost their lives for our freedoms, and see where the Jaguars prowl for the regionals. GO JAGUARS!
