Deion Sanders' photo without mask. It says everything about how complicated navigating pandemic is


There are actually five people wearing masks that you can clearly see. I have no doubt that eventually this situation will be resolved. Thee I Love will continue to be one of the prominent institutions of higher learning. We all have shortcomings in our lives. The value of those is to learn and be better from them. JSU has always shown the ability to overcome bad optics and publicity. This situation won't be any different.

Well, I agree we all need to wear masks. This virus is very serious and it is hitting our black community very hard. Our coaches and athletes have to be very serious about this virus. We cannot be nonchalant when it comes to our lives and livelihood. This photo is not good and it doesn't show that we are being responsible as grown people should be. I am very disappointed to see this type of careless behavior. I love JSU but this is very immature and selfish.

Touching each other
No social distancing

and then they brought the elderly folk in there & exposed them to covid. SMDH Grambling gots to do better.

not only does prime have to win at JSU but America is depending on him to save & revive HBCU athletics and cure covid by himself.

To that end, I can't pretend to know if Prime has already been tested, took a preliminary trial vaccine to mitigate exposure, or obtained confirmation of negative test results from the individuals in the aforementioned photo. And as such, I don't think it's wise to criticize a person publicly when we don't know the full story, nor even attempted to establish a relationship with said individual before venturing down the road of criticism and contempt.

It's so much we don't know, and we'd be better off working on our own homes before casting doubt on others!

I don't follow Grambling on IG but thanks for making us aware of it. It's baffling how Grambling could approve that setup.

We've run more stories on JSU (in a positive manner) from Deion's hire, to the recruiting acquisitions and the national attention the school has received because of it. And not to mention all the non-football stuff. And you have the nerve to say our coverage is "one-sided"?

If that ain't some Trumpist comment, I don't know what is.

That’s why Deion chose to work in Jackson and move two states over. They will give him everything and defend him like no other Even if he’s wrong. They happy in Jackson to have a former A-list celebrity in town. Even if he’s mocking them by asking about soul food restaurants lol this is a strictly about him

Nobody is hating or being jealous by observing that it isn’t a good look for Deion and his coaches (and the AD for that matter) to not be following safety measures during a pandemic that puts the whole football program at risk.

Don’t you see how many pro and college games have been postponed or canceled because of COVID running through teams?

Some college football teams can barely finish the season. But y’all dorks on here can’t get your head out of Deion’s ass long enough to see that. It’s cool to be loyal to your school, but damnit don’t be cultish about it because that’s how a lot of y’all are acting.

I didn't read the article but y'all see now why we kicked Kendrick out the Den? We always knew.

Dude was admitted in.. NOT even by us but some of his admin buddies and was so divisive he got axed in less than 48 hours.

It's like when that one aunt everyone hates comes to Thanksgiving dinner and the whole family just gets up a leaves. That's where the Den was going. It didn't even feel like home.
