Deion Sanders' photo without mask. It says everything about how complicated navigating pandemic is

Show me an accurate testing protocol that is 75% reliable. There are several companies that are out there administering tests and each one of them has a different testing method. Read up on it sometimes. I invest in some of them. And at the end of the day, each one of those companies have admitted that their testing method may not be reliable. Go figure!

Use critical thinking for once before you start attacking people because they question what they see and don't believe everything they are told by the masses!
The most reliable test are the ones that require days to confirm a result. That's why the CDC recommends a quarantine EVEN if you've only been exposed, or have symptoms. The questionable test are these so-called "rapid" tests that got rushed to market. Which, by the way, was rushed at the request of the power 5 universities and pro sports leagues.
The companies are saying this about reliability to cover their asses legally. How do I know this? It helps being the friend of one of the manufacturer's attorney. Go figure.

So at the end of the day, "big money" is controlling the tests, testing protocols and data; and some companies are essentially "stretching the truth" to cover their asses about reliability and test accuracy.

Okay, so which tests do you think have flooded the market right now? Have we confirmed and established one true testing method yet? Have the rest of the unreliable testing methods been eliminated? Okay got it! 😂

We are saying the exact same thing, but you want to make me out to be a hoaxer! 😆

Naw @Journalist . Don't do that bro! You know exactly what that is. This is NOT about supporting non-mask wearing lunatics feeling as though their right have been trampled on. This is about a supposed Jacksonian who seems to have a tendency to write slanted articles about the very institution they attended. This is part of the reason he was no longer in the Den.

What you are witnessing is similar to a big family gathering celebrating an accomplishment, and the distant cousin who seems to always bash the family in public to other non-family members has just showed up to the party with some questionable intentions. You should already know by now the looks they are getting at the moment.

RELATIONSHIPS MATTER!
I just want the man to put a mask on when he’s around others ... or at least his team/JSU could not post photos of him maskless in a group so he won’t be subject to criticism.

Antigen tests are least reliable, which were those Power 5 schools first used before switching to the PCR version.

I'm not the one trying to cover for someone who is supposed to be a leader showing a lackadasical effort to prevent spread of a virus that is killing people.

So with all the back and forth I’m assuming everyone here wears masks 24/7 and gets tested multiple times daily. I’m quite sure no one can say they haven’t been around anyone at any point without a mask. Not saying it’s right or wrong. I just see some people choosing sides for no unnecessary reason as if we are kids on a play ground smh
I'm not a hoaxer bro. I've had several family members that have tested positive and suffered from serious complications.

However, I don't believe everything I'm told, especially these testing protocols where one day you are positive and the next day you are negative. No one is talking about the common cold anymore or symptoms. Everything is ALL Covid!

Show me a reliable test, as well as true testing protocols and then we can move forward.
When has the common cold killed 270,000 people in 10 months and left thousands of others with long-term health damage in the era of modern medicine?

I’m quite sure no one can say they haven’t been around anyone at any point without a mask.

I know plenty of folks who haven't been around people outside of their immediate family without a mask...

That's been the damn recommendations for MONTHS and folks still act like they don't know better...

This is the reason i'm debating whether or not i'm going home for Christmas. They don't take it serious enough for my liking and if I go down there and end up sick i'm going to be mega pissed.

It hasn't. That's not the point. The point is to identify a true testing method with better accuracy so we can eliminate the effects of influential money in our system to put forth testing protocols and test kits that they know damn well are not accurate. This way we can eliminate a lot of the uncertainty, false positive tests and prevent prematurely putting everyone at risk.

If that's how you feel, fine. But there was NOTHING critical said about Jackson State in the Deion piece. This was all about the actions of Deion. It had nothing to do with Jackson State.

There won't be one true testing method. There are already rapid tests. There are PCR tests (considered the best and most reliable). There will be soon tests available where a person can spit in a tube. There will be rapid tests where samples can be taken on small strips. If test results vary, it's likely based on the sensitivity of the tests.

Ross Dellenger did a really good job of diving it to it here. https://www.si.com/college/2020/10/17/nick-saban-covid-test-alabama-georgia

What is "big money" and how is it "controlling the tests, protocols and data?"

Funny thing is Ross's article was the article I was going to refer to just to show how crazy some of the test procedures and test accuracy have been historically. Big money has really influenced a lot of the uncertainty in the covid testing protocols that we are witnessing. Until we can eliminate that and identify tried and true methods, adopt them across the board and move forth collectively, we will continue to go around this Covid Carousel.

Yes, capitalism shouldn't influence how the country responds to health crises. If anything, COVID has only amplified how broken and inequitable our health care system is. But in the meantime, "Coach Prime" should put on a mask when he's around others to reduce the risk for himself and those close to him.

I don't know if Deion had his test before this picture or what, but I can see where it may send the wrong message. All I can say is the optics aren't good, especially when I every time I hear from Odums on Twitter, he is reminding people to mask up, every time I have seen Orgeron, he has a mask on, except some interviews (which I question).

Interesting nonetheless.

That’s because no one really knows anything outside of what they are told. Unless you have personally studied the virus, what it does, how it affects everyone, etc. it’s all subjective as is every opinion and comment on this post about the topic.

So can we close this thread lol ... JSU bout to sign some dogs in the coming weeks and this right here is classless... and those co-signing... beware of the same candid treatment come our “alleged” covid season in the spring ... I better see masks , social distance, dr fauci playing on busses, and Clorox spray after every footstep or I’m leaking photos and submitting articles in this piece... now back to some real news...

None of that is a logical reason not to adhere to the current guidelines. I don't have to have personally studied the virus. The folks PAID to do so have recommended guidelines that people need to get fuckin serious about following.

Ya'll better hope nobody wins a court case against somebody knowingly spreading this shit. Lot of folks will get financially ruined

Can't at this point! It's supposedly airborne, which means unless you can charge Mother Earth and the winds from the four corners,--it's a lost cause. I imagine plenty of us have already been unintentionally and/or unknowingly exposed at some point since last December.

I also imagine the false positive and/or inaccurate testing procedures and results have also put a lot of people at risk of exposure; as well as the lack of proper guidelines issued by our government on which type of masks to wear. (I personally wear N95's even though they are not readily available anymore to the public.) *wonder why*

To that end, I can't pretend to know if Prime has already been tested, took a preliminary trial vaccine to mitigate exposure, or obtained confirmation of negative test results from the individuals in the aforementioned photo. And as such, I don't think it's wise to criticize a person publicly when we don't know the full story, nor even attempted to establish a relationship with said individual before venturing down the road of criticism and contempt.

It's so much we don't know, and we'd be better off working on our own homes before casting doubt on others!

You assume my comments mean people shouldn’t adhere to the guidelines. All I stated is we all have an opinion on the topic and we don’t really know much about it. I’ve seen multiple people adhere to every guideline set forth by those paid individuals still contract the virus and die. Family included. I’ve seen folks get positive results one day then negative the next while wearing masks. I’ve heard/seen folks test negative when they really had the virus and died from it because they found out at the last minute. So all this about paying people to recommend guidelines is just that. NO ONE knows anything as I previously stated.

Man this right here!

There is no full story here. Deion was among a group of people not wearing masks. And has done so on multiple occasions, which is behavior that's been advised against. We don't need to know the context -- in this case -- to make an assessment. If someone doesn't want to be criticized for what they do (or say) publicly, maybe not post it on social media for others to judge.
