SMH, Grambling and Jackson State are adding to the insanity as well.

First off...have you seen Tuskegee's stadium? If you are the AD at AAMU, you DON"T play Skegee at Skegee. For the simple fact that it is a D2 program. Secondly, if you are the AD at AAMU you still want to uphold your program's image as a D1 program. Believe it or not, things like that are important. Thirdly, if you are the AD at AAMU and you have an interest in playing Skegee, you invite them to play you at HOME in Huntsville...not the other way around. You make it worth TU's while to play you at home, not the other way around. You have the potential to make more money playing TU in Huntsville. It ain't hard.

Ok breh

Lol.

Dude just missed the whole "we all eat" factor I presented.

Just cuz of a "feeling" (not a rule) but a feeling,Skegee can't have SU or a A&M come to them smh Lol

Man yall just as bad as the ADs we have in position, smh.

Yall got it.

Nah.

P5 schools play at G5 schools often . But they ain't playing a lower division school on the road.

Ok breh.

You and other dude, missing the whole point of what's being stated.

Yall so busy looking at these empty ass titles/labels that yall don't even see the bigger picture of what is needed to be done

But yall got it.

Naw, you just can't communicate worth shit. That's all.

The problem ain't us...it's you. But we are here to help.

Breh, I stated my idea and you stated it can't be done because one school is D1 and the other one is D2, that's so ass backwards and goofy thinking.

Why not help your brother mate out?

You do know, it's that whole big me, little me mind-set that you're advocating. Why not have a SU vs Skegee game, who the hell is that hurting when it's standing room only at the game?

How would the programs be hurt when both would be walking away with a bag if the things were presented in a right way?

Breh yall focus on the wrong thing and how stuff that's not even important should be looked at. The bag and overall setup of a situation is the only thing that should be the focus. Forget the title and label that these cacs put on the schools, "oh they D1 so they can't travel to a D2 school" SMH goofy stuff.

If both schools getting the bag and the event becomes a success, what's the issue?

Let me ask yall this

No shots at Valley

But is traveling to Valley more profitable for A&M, is it a better game? vs A&M traveling to a Skegee on their HC?

Which one would yield the most funds and present an overall game experience for fans?

We talking strictly game atmosphere and events. We'll get to who takes what money later

Valley is a conference game. SMH

Yall got a dying product that's not making any moves and yall worrying about titles and labels?

Smh.

Man it's all about bringing and getting to the bag, creating something different. What's being done now isn't working.

The average fan wouldn't give 2 shts about SU traveling to Skegee and playing them for their HC. Some may but I tell you what, Skegee HC would be off the chain for them and the bag will be bigger for them.

Going back to my example in post #109, funds could be allocated/distributed on how the deal would be made. But the overall game atmosphere would be something good for black football and both conference/schools

Nobody gives a dayum about D1 vs D2 titles, ppl want to see good product and have a good experience, yall be caught in the wrong thing mane smh. pissing contests when the conference is experiencing a slow death

What sense does it make (for the sake of the bag) for Southern to play a non-conference game versus a D2 school in a 10,000-seat stadium?

You're so lost, bro.

Nah bro, you don't know how to generate funds. I think you are one of those if one was to ask to generate 100k to save your life, you couldn't do it IMO

Stating statements about for the sake of the bag is the reason I came to that thought

Good day sir

Bighead has difficulty communicating his points.

I think SWAC scheduling policies need to be reviewed. One thing that would help would be if the counsel of presidents appointed a senior school official and a SWAC representative to meet over a week and graft a scheduling process for conference games. Say scheduling games out to 2025. This could take possibly a week with hard dedicated work.

Then schools would be required to fill their schedules.

Next year the same individuals would meet for 2026 and so forth.

The initial meeting would be the hardest because it takes a school out 5 to 6 years. The only problem will be if a school leaves the conference.

I think our school's biggest problem is that our athletic departments are not aggressive enough.

Nah Bighead doesn't

Ppl have a hard time letting go their 1998 views.

Dude stated what is the point of SU playing Skegee for HC. as if that game would be packed and have a great gameday vibe,

D1 schools can't travel to D2 schools, even though A&M traveling to a Valley would yield in low funds, vs A&M traveling to a Skegee HC game.

But yet SU travels to TCU and get their asses kicked by 60 is all fine and dandy Lol. see that goofy ass thinking but one can't travel to a D2 school and have both schools AND the fans win LOL.

How is that hard to not grasp?

But what's wrong with going to Tuskegee breh? I mean you got to come to the table and make it to where both programs eat.

AAMU/Skegee 2011. Louis Crews Stadium (max capacity 22,000). Attendance: 18,000+
AAMU/Skegee 2012. Legion Field (max capacity 71,000). Attendance: 21,000+
AAMU/Skegee 2013. Louis Crews Stadium (max capacity 22,000). Attendance: 13,000+
AAMU/Skegee 2014. Alumni Stadium, Tuskegee (alleged max capacity 10,000). Attendance: 5,300

Come on fam.

How hard is it to grasp that you can't compare schools playing road games within it's own division to playing a road game at a D2 school? SMH!

Come on fam what?

Breh

You are actually proving my point.

If a SU or A&M was to come to the stadium then you would need more room, thus the crowd being big.

LOL. You are simply proving my point.

I bet you could hold a Valley vs A&M game there and still have space. LOL

But you are saying that a A&M vs Skegee game or SU vs Skegee game wouldn't hold right? which means that the game (even though A&M and SU are D1 schools) would be a success?

21,000 (approx 9,000 in split ticket revenue) in Bham or 5,300 full revenue at home?

COME ON FAM.

Why you can't?

Let me ask you this:

A&M playing Valley at home or away (2018 & 2019) vs

A&M playing Skegee at home or away for HC (2018 & 2019)

Which match will produce the better profit?

21,000 (approx 9,000 in split ticket revenue) in Bham or 5,300 full revenue at home?

COME ON FAM.

Wait, 10k x 30 dollars a ticket = 300,000 right

Is this 150k split for each school?

150k is given to us to get our ass kicked by 60,

Why not take a 60/40 split or whatever.

Add bleachers and another 3k-5k , are we not sitting at 500k just off ticket sells?

Add a BOTB, concert etc. Parking. All that. Are we not at a Milli or over it if Skegee plays SU for HC

I haven't even factored in concessions
