Candidates being interviewed for A&M

Spady hated working at HBCUs. He dogged Grambling when he was here, then dogged us on the way out. LOL

He went to the FBS level and forgot his image he is humbled now cause he working at FAMU and that’s different than working at Nevada. He probably won’t get a shot again to be a D1 HC

if Maynor wanted the job back then I think Hampton and A&M was open the same year he could’ve got the job then. I’m happy for the brother he is a good guy. Only job I know he really really really wants is A&T

Exactly. People need to stop with the lies....

Maynor does not fit the personality of AAMU just like he didnt fit the personality of Hampton. While he will never coach at JSU, he fits our mold much better... lol Listen to his interviews.

What arrogant???? You must have never heard Pettaway interview back in the day. Jones brought that “friendly” shit here lol

Quite a few interesting names wanted the job in 2014 but we had it open for Spady lol

Hicks has always wanted D1 guys meaning FBS in Football and Majors in other sports that’s why he hired Spady. If you look at his hires when he first got here it was all D1 even the women’s basketball coach that won 5 games at Ohio but she played for Tennessee I believe. That’s why sport teams dropped under his watch cause he wanted the kids to have a certain exposure

That makes sense about Hicks. I can see how Spady was hired. It looked favorable on paper but as we've said so many times, the rolled dice doesn't always go the way you want it. However with Coach Randall, there were all kinds of red flags. No one seemed to care because of who she played for and how good an athlete she was. We live and we learn. Her replacement Coach Richards is the truth. So is Coach Maynor for AAMU. Correct me if I am wrong but it has been the committees recommendations that have been the source of recent & better hires. I can't wait for this College Football season to start again. It's on!
