Dak Prescott says being biracial has helped him lead the Cowboys

All Dak is saying is "he feels privileged because he was born light-skinned", you never hear dark-skinned blacks saying something like this. Light, bright and damn near white, tell me something new! :)
Now y'all see what Tpop was selling. Folks like this dude preaches this same stuff.

again wow at these comments lol Dude embraces both sides of his family & stated that, how some of you idiots choose to hear what you want & lie is predictable & sad

carry on

I know someone that knows his dad....may be true

however, we think these guys are more polished than what they are. This generation lives on a phone and their mindsets about race are way different than we'll ever imagine. Plus he was an athlete who benefited from his genes so he has entitlement. Some don't realize what they said until years later when they're old enough to understand it.

"I was put in all those different situations. I've been in situations where I was the only black guy. We're in a time now where nobody wants to see that. But it still happens. Depending on where you come from, it happens. To be able to wipe that clean and see and live both sides, it's just who I am. Being mixed allows me to connect with everyone."
"Being bi-racial and being from the country, I can talk to guys like Travis Frederick from Wisconsin and Doug Free from Wisconsin," he said. "And then I can go over and talk to Dez Bryant. I mean, think about the two different standpoints you need to have a real conversation with both, to really understand what they've been through. I don't think many can do it. For me, it's not hard. I'm blessed because it's natural."

These are the words of Dak.
No, this guy is not very intelligent if he assumes that his biracialness allows him to connect with everyone.

It is the situations you are put in. History..I live in a predominately black neighborhood. Grammar school for me was predominately white, highschool was all black except for one white guy and two white girls, first college was a PWC, next was AAMU, Because of the schools I went to in my youth I was able to talk to and deal with more than one group of people at the PWC whites, asians, hispanics, and black . My first roommate at the PWC was white and had never been around so many black people, he was always worried about saying or doing the wrong thing. His background of not being around blacks and not necessarily his race hindered him. I know black people who have issues working with or around white people. Being black, white, hispanic, asian, or biracial has no bearing on you being a better person or leader. It's how you are brought up. If Dak had acknowledge that as opposed to his biracialness, I'd be in full support of him. But some of you missed that in my original post and proceeded to try and take me down a peg. So I guess you agree with his foolishness. If so then stay stuck in whatever backwoods you live in now, oh and Trump has a bed for you in his hotel, take a towel though.

And Founder is right. If you've ever been to Haughton, Louisiana, then it should be readily apparent what Dak was saying.
OK, I've never been to Haughton. So what is your take on what he's saying? I want to see if it aligns with mine....just wondering.

You dont want to go to Haughton, its in Bossier Parish, not a great Black place. His Black Cousins are most likely how is explained, face it. Plus he go get Tats with them over in Shreveport, they are his pass into the Lakeside, Cooper road Community, where most likely he gained his toughness. Plus Understand that he has been a star all his life, white people treat him the same as Black people, its one of the perks of being the best, so like Lil Wayne and countless other people of that statue they have no Idea what Racism is. He see Hood (Lakeside) and Country (Haughton) being by racial was just his key into both worlds without the label.

This is the most ridiculous exchange of sympathetic & indifferent thoughts. I would post a black man's profanity laced diatribe on both sides if not for fear of a Kenn Rashad ban.

I've lost all respect for this fool, not that I really cared in the first place, but this statement shows how he is not intelligent. It is not being biracial that helped him. If anything it's being able to be diverse, which the average black person is or should be able to do.
We are more able to weave in and out of certain social or professional atmospheres with different ethnic or racial backgrounds. Whites can not normally do this because all they know is white.

And Chris Carter and Ray Lewis co-signed this foolishness

He is giving his own testimony. He is not speaking for all black or white people or the average person.
Be careful when you comment on someone else's intelligence.

1. Why did you lose respect for him?

2. Why is it foolishness?

3. He might just be speaking for himself.

I work in the professional world and you will be surprise how we were once diverse people are now not! The simple things that we once do we now cannot do. Now some whites cannot do it because they refuse to come out of their comfort zone.
