I honesty didn't know he came from bi-racial parents until now. He looks like the average joker from down the street. Unless his White parent is hiding something from their family tree, his Black parent must have some strong genes. Especially in Louisiana, where a lot people have successfully passed for White. LOL!!!

We have English teachers on my white side. My grandpa is a principal. And then you go to the other side and people have been in jail.

Right there it showed where his heart lies. The focus of his positives was to his white side and focus of the negativity was the "other" side. It gives the impression that nothing good came from his black side. I'm sure he has some white cousins that are on meth and in and out of Bossier Parish Detention Center.

I've lost all respect for this fool, not that I really cared in the first place, but this statement shows how he is not intelligent. It is not being biracial that helped him. If anything it's being able to be diverse, which the average black person is or should be able to do.
We are more able to weave in and out of certain social or professional atmospheres with different ethnic or racial backgrounds. Whites can not normally do this because all they know is white.

And Chris Carter and Ray Lewis co-signed this foolishness

He is giving his own testimony. He is not speaking for all black or white people or the average person.
Be careful when you comment on someone else's intelligence.

What are you guys upset about? The headline? Or the actual content of the article? That headline was likely created by the editor. Dak didn't say "being biracial helped him lead the Cowboys".
Right. The only thing I'm disappointed in is the article, itself. In another interview, a reporter asked him about it, and he said he, "has the best of both worlds". There are plenty of ways that you can slant an article with the quotes and the soundbites. Just a poorly written, pointless article, IMO.

Right it was actually That Whitlock dude framing it that way on tv and Chris Carter and Ray Lewis co-signing his foolishness . I'm going to post my thoughts on that later sometime today on my FB page and share it on twitter

I used to really like Whitlock. I gave up on him sometime ago. I can only imagine what he said.

And dude Mom was white. He may feel closer to her and that side of the family. Never heard anything about his Dad. Just his Mom who died from Cancer. I don't like the Cowboys. But I don't see anything Dak did wrong or said. Am I missing something?

The fellow needs Dr DeGruy...BADLY!

All Dak is saying is "he feels privileged because he was born light-skinned", you never hear dark-skinned blacks saying something like this. Light, bright and damn near white, tell me something new! :)

Anyone who has been to Haughten knows good and damn well what this dude meant. It's clear...I guess I take a person's word of what they say in an interview. The dude gave props to his white side and said on the "other" side jail. Come on folks.. I wonder how his cousins on the "other" side feel.
