A person who claims to be logical can't be this uniformed. All one has to do is look it up on Google Earth. Technology has made things very easy these days.

ALL i had to do was what I did.. I got my answer.
I have another question but I won't ask it... and google maps can;t help with that.

I said Google EARTH, which is a lot different than google maps. You can do more in Google EARTH.

I believe SU is the only college campus in the country that drains directly into the Mississippi River via its Ravine.

I was recently at the University of Minnesota. I was amazed that that mugg is smack dab on the river on bluffs. It's pretty up there, but give me the view from Scott's Bluff any day.

It splits both Minneapolis and St Paul. Miss living there sometimes.

The Minnesota campus is beautiful. I liked the fact there's a pedestrian/bike bridge atop the Washington Street bridge to link the West and East bank campuses. I was geeked over mid-July temps in the low 80s. The the light rail takes you from the Airport to downtown and you switch lines to go to the campus. Didn't Minneapolis-St. Paul try to get an Olympic bid years ago? With all that Fortune 500 money they got up there and the weather, I'd give them a bid with the quickness.

But it doesn't beat seeing the sun go down and the reflection of the light hitting the river from Scott's Bluff.

:) *sigh* Man... nothing like it and then the feel of that first cool snap (wind) that breezes through this month. You can literally feel the change in the air. I wasn't so much into that twin-cities area but I absolutely adored Rochester. Stunningly beautiful place supporting the Mayo effort(s).

Not to say the stands don't need a good pressure wash, but SU is in the south. Eventually every stadium in the south would need a good pressure wash. It's the nature of the beast for being in the south. I've never seen exposed concrete cure black before. The chair in the background in the picture below is almost the same color as the concrete behind it.

If I had the money I would donate it to GSU to have the entire stadium done in black and gold with plastic back seats. Imagine the the aerial view with a turf field. Truth be told I would make the south endzone a type of suite style party area and the north side with the scoreboard place a large video screen there.
