Well, Alcorn.... Hopson may be the last man standing for USM.. It's now down to him and the Florida OC.

Southern Miss: AL.com confirmed this afternoon that Southern Miss considered Bill Clark; but Clark told AL.com this afternoon that he is committed to UAB and is no longer part of the process with Southern Miss.

Dude, our APR and overall academic prowess is light years ahead of Alcorn. Why you brought this up was very unsmart.
What I can say is JSU has never had the honors of being the best 0-11 team in the nation. Thanks Johnny.

It's not like JSU don't have SWAC championships. We have far more SWAC titles than Alcorn could ever dream of. We've never been playoffless for 20 straight years like Alcorn. Come on MAN!! This isn't even a fair comparison.

Really? Since when? All JSU has to worry about is JSU. When we are good, the ONLY teams we have trouble with are GSU and TNState. BAMA State supposed to be good every year and we bust them in the face.. Alcorn ain't ready for us. I REALLY hope Hopson stays because I don't want any excuses when we win 3 straight on the Reservation!

Dude, how old are you? JSU has about 20 something titles. We have consistently had the best overall athletic program in the SWAC over the last 20 years.
All lil ole Grambling has is football and you didn't win anything this year, so you were nothing. We know you won't win anything in basketball and baseball, so your basketball and baseball teams may as well not even play anymore cause you ain't winning jack.

The current thought process of these Jacksonians is why they have been surpassed by Alcorn in SCG ships. They are happy with being 3rd in the SWAC. Alcornites don't think like that.

No, that sounds more like Alocrn's speed. Two years is nothing compared to JSU's period of winning titles. You guys are johnny-come-lately types. After this little streak is over, there's no telling how long it's gone take to field a consistently winning team. Historical fact don't lie. Before Hopson, Alcorn hadn't won the SWAC in over 20 plus years.
Two years can never erase that embarrassment. TWENTY FIVE YEARS without a title?! Now let THAT marinate.
I't's only a matter of time before you take your place with the East bottom-feeders.

You do know that wasn't our problem right? We graduated MANY players... we just had a person in compliance who had no clue and didn't know how to do paperwork... She got fired and now we have the highest APR in the conference... Yes, higher than yours...

SCG ships? So the SWAC began in 1999? Dude, you're nowhere near JSU in overall FOOTBALL titles. This is too easy.

How was ya'll thinking for the last 20 years? We had coaches who went 4-0 vs Asscorn and 5-3 vs Azzcorn and we fired them.. so clearly, beating Alcorn ain't a priority. It's just what we do.

Not sure.. one thing's for sure.. they have not been more successful than us....and we have had TWO bad coaches... STILL balling... Lucky for ya'll we made some bad decisions....
