No disrespect to anyone but when one sees the bigger picture, one will note/notice how insignificant the "battle" is, if there is such an animal as the "battle," when there is a major war occurring daily.

I'm simply happy and proud to see 18-23 year olds in college - any college/university, attempting to further their education, to become productive and contributing citizens of this country. Hopefully to effect a change for the positive for the future of all. Sorry for the kum-bah-yah speech but I've been around too many 18-23 year olds recently who are not in college and didn't receive a proper academic foundation while younger as they were systematically "no-child left behind" and quite unlearned smh who are just now being directed/instructed/taught (freely w/ no fees). This mentorship program is about mentally taxing me but I and a smidget others forge ahead lol.

Carry on. Shine brightly, all of you bandsmen/bandswomen. You have a very envrious unique gift.

Says the band begging for $16,000 in donations for windsuits. Don't make me post the flyer. We don't want a 300 piece band and if we did we'd have one and I guess you didn't get the memo that the band budget was increased. As much as you're obsessed with SU at least you could get some facts lame.

In the voice of Fred Sandford, "You Big Dummy"! A JSU alumnus donated $500,000.00 to the Boom, $500,000.00 minus $16,000.00 = $484,000.00, go figure! Did you know what the three R's are?

An email was sent to JSU alumni by the Queen (JSU's President) asking alumni to show support for Boom, the money for the wind suits was already in hand and not a "bird" in the bush. You are more than welcome to post the flyer!

I agree. I want to see all the $500,000.00 donations they have received.

Rob, they do have gold on their Tubas, but it's only gold colored, fool's gold!

Last I checked I'm not on the sonic womb's thread about them performing for Mayweather. Wasn't on the Zippity do dah thread either. Now go get your salty arse a life. Find something for your band to do.

We have seen cats make promises they don't keep at all HBCUs.

Last time I checked one of the national accolades was The BOOM being the highest ranked HBCU band in the nation by many of the voters in both official and unofficial polls.

What "official" poll? A lie ain't nothing for you to tell. If you put a poll on fox news website asking if the Government is planning to invade Texas over 50% would vote yes. Outside of the zippity do dah parade where has the WOMB been invited? Where has the NCAA ranked them? Where has any major publications even mentioned them?

If you have to come on another band's thread trying to prove your band is relevant then guess what? You're not.

Remember, accolades are awards or privileges granted as a special honor or as an acknowledgment of merit. I will be waiting over here------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
