I guess a 45lb plate of weight @ NDSU is supposed to be better than the 45lb weight @ PVAMU. :smh: The message I conveyed is what I conveyed. It's up to whomever to interpret the way they see fit. A few weeks back, I was on the bball court playing against a kid that dropped out of tcu's bball program. He called himself "liquid thunder", big boy 6'4". I'm old enough to be that boy's dad and prolly granddaddy lol but I never learned the meaning of the word back down or give in/up. That's why I continually strength train <b>religeously</b>. I held my own against the youngsta' until I pulled a right groin muscle, partially ripped the left patelar tendon, and did something else to the left hip joint. :emlaugh: I'm on crutches true enough, but I never learned back down. I'm training now to return and whoop his arse some more in about 3-6 months. :emlaugh:

Excuses? NDST is recruiting better athletes than PV and can afford to do so. It is not a mistake that they beat PV brains in. They are the second largest university (not too far off from being the largest) in their respective state. PV is recruiting scrubs in comparison. What is funny and comical is an alumni of PV expecting them to be competitive and don't even have a football stadium to attract student athletes. Some of you all are delusional or lost your entire mind. :lol: :emlaugh: NDST is a FBS program in FCS clothing. The answer is obvious......invest more in your program if you plan on competing with mid majors.....One does not have to be a rocket scientist to decipher that.

NDST Fargo Dome...Though NDST stadium isn't large Let's look at PV stadium to see how it matches up to recruit all of those fine athletes that's scared of "whites." :lol: :emlaugh:

Yall layoff the BRAVEONE.

He was just trying to come up with a way for us to compete in football by juggling available funds. The thought process may be slightly flawed but it is a thought. Maybe we should try to hire better coaches, more coaches and raise more money.

Using jrock's logic, ndsu never should have whooped univ of minn and colorado st :lol:. App st shouldn't have beaten univ of mich either. Since the larger schools have the bigger budget & larger enrollments :retard:.

Ohhhh, the facility excuse now lol. I guess lamar had the taj mahal last fall :emlaugh:. 3rd yr program that blanked a football playing school of the last 22 consecutive yrs. What will be the excuse vs sfa?? lol You should be a comm dir because you make zero rational sense from a competivity standpoint.

Upsets happen. 9 times outta 10, the school with the larger budgets win. Look at the history of the SWAC. JSU, GSU and SU ruled because no one else was putting money into sports. Look at how SU used to dominate the Commish Cup when they were pretty much the only school to fund women's sports to the fullest. You need a great coach and a great staff to overcome the funding shortfall and even that will only make you respectable sometime. Michigan would have beat the dog schitt outta App State had they played again that season.

Is PV football fully funded with 63 scholarships? I don't know PV business like that.
