Metro Atlanta population hit 5.45 million in 2012

Well said.

Cee, you cannot compare GA to NC because outside of Atlanta and MAYBE Augusta, the rest of the state is rual. NC has Elizabeth City, Wilmington, Ashville, Fayetteville, Raleigh, Durham, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and Charlotte.

Unknown, I never stated that Charlotte and Atlanta were the same size. I stated that our leadership has been making the steps to avoid Atlanta's problems. Our infrustrucure is good yet will be great as the city continues to grow. Do not think that Charlotte ia all banking. I live near Technology Drive which is filled with non-banking facilities. Raleigh-Durham is home to Research Triangle Park while Fayetteville is home to Ft. Bragg (FORSCOM, special forces and 82nd Airborne Headquarters) so the economy is string throughout the state.

With a strong UNC System and economic climate, one cannot compare the state of NC to the state GA. Yeah, a Republican snuck in last year but he is definitely on his way out. We have been a Democratic state for quite some time, which is partly why our HBCUs have been in such good shape for so long.

It's kind of hard for Republicans to gerrymander their way into power when folks are scatter everywhere, but I'm sure if majority of North Carolina's Black population was jammed into the Charlotte Metro area, North Carolina would be red as hell.

Aye bruh, Non was so wrong it was not funny. I guess he has never heard of Columbus and Savannah. :shame: Nice try though.

Although I like how Black people in North Carolina have position themselves politically, there are some Black characters in North Carolina that would make the most racist mofos in Forsyth County say WTF!!!, such as this character:

I'm sure this is how Dave Chappelle came up with the skit Clayton Bigsby the Black Ku Klux Klan. Dave Chappelle even dressed up his character to look like the dude from North Carolina:

Do tell.....Please elaborate.

In regards to consistently maintaining competent Democratic leadership. NC always keeps a Democratic governor and leadership.

Now, in regards to economy, public university systems and midsize to large cities/metros, both states are like night and day.

Charlotte reminds me of a big Grambling or Lorman. :emlaugh:

I was giving an outsider's POV. Being that you are from Jackson and were "educated" in Baton Rouge, I can see why you responded in the manner that you did.

Jackson and Baton Rouge both share the same ratchet, downtrodden vibe that Altlanta posseses.

Dude kill that noise. Charlotte is 30 years behind the Atl. I guess you would know country since your town just became a city folks come to in the 2000's.

I won't get into a pissing contest about cities. Giving that you are representing Atlanta, that would be too easy on my end.
