SoCon Loses TV Deal

How is it sad?

All he did was ask to see the numbers so that he may compare conferences
?

How does wanting to see the numbers make him a Clarence Thomas clone? :noidea:

Don't you know if you QUESTION anything about the SWAC, certain posters will ALWAYS come in like you slapped MLK and Rosa Parkes after digging them up from their eternal rest? That is the played out mentality of the so-called thinkers in this conference.

It is also why I laugh at every post, and every year the SWAC take another step backwards. I gave up long ago being serious about this crap conference leadership and the stuck in the 1950's mentalities that support the decisions made.

It is all a big joke to me. :lmao:

Those numbers are public knowledge and links to the data has been posted in this forum more than once. The SWAC member schools budgets aren't anywhere close to some of these FCS schools. Either he or anyone that thinks like him is just ignorant (which isn't a bad thing but should do research) or he is a Clarence Thomas clone.

and to think, it was just a couple of weeks ago that "some" were holding up that PBS deal as the end all, be all measuring stick.
:snickering again:

Damn guy, can you read? I said absolutely NOTHING about individual school budgets ----> :retard:

<b>"What are the revenue reports for the <u>FCS conferences</u>? I'd like to see where the SWAC lies, I mean, attempts to substantiate its <u>revenues.</u>" </b> As in <b>revenue streams (generated)</b>. The SoCon losing its television deal, the first thing that came to mind was that's a revenue stream they seemingly lost and DOES the SWAC offc also report in the SAME manner when it has corporate sponsors in Farmers Ins, some HealthSouth deal, ESPN, et al. I already know the individual SWAC schools budget pales in comparison to the other FCS counterparts.

Graduate w/ a minimum of a BS degree, @ a minimum, before you ever attempt to address me again son. I don't do dumb. I do summa cum... all day from day one.

All this **snickering** and the SWAC's so-called ESPN deal ain't worth a bucket of kangaroo crap either.

You are right but according you to playoff enthusiasts, the SoCon should be in much better shape than us because everyone wants to see them and everyone wants to play them. Sure, that is why App State is trying to get out of there.

Stop lol'ing brah!!!! :slap: :emlaugh: lol

We're supposed to pray for people like dude. Delusional, at worst. I guess he works in the office and naturally no one should ever question what's supposed to be public information. HealthSouth, FARMERS, Joe's Kia of B'ham, ESPN, Southwest Airlines, et al are corporate partners/sponsosrs of the SWAC offc so what types of sponsorships ($$$$) are they footing or what action(s) are they donating to the SWAC HQ? And if it's public, where does one find it? :read: Surely not on the raggedy untimely updated SWAC website. lol

That was the 1st and only thing that comes to mind when I saw "SoCon loses TV deal." Nothing more, nothing less. $$$$ revenue generator potential lost. El stupid ne.gro up there ^^^^^ walked off the plank into the atlantic and drowned in his own assumptions and stupidity -->> :retard:. Get it JROCK!

You know, I think the problem with so many in the SWAC is that they've grown accustomed to accepting incompetence and mediocrity. Anything that challenges them or threatens to push them out of their comfort zone - no matter how shitty it is - is shunned and denigrated.

I don't think JROCK is a bad person. I just think many of us need to be shaken up and pushed out of our comfort zones. Things won't change and definitely won't improve until that happens.

That is where your ignorance come in at. The revenue of each school has been posted as well as the expenses in relationship to the budget as well as what was subsidized by each state. Do the math and some research if you want itemization and aggregations . The reports showed revenue earned and the relationship to the budget. I am not spoon feeding you and giving you the link. You and what ever dummies that are not knowledgeable need to do some research. You and SUjagfan don't know what the hell you're talking about  :emlaugh:

Come on, JROCK. The dude merely asked where to find the numbers. Maybe he didn't see the numbers when they came out.

But, you're not protesting finding a link. What you're really protesting and trying to head off is an analysis of the numbers. Because you know P~ is not shy about saying his school and the SWAC needs to do better.

That's what you're really taking offense to. Because, if you were really interested in discussing what was best for the conference, you'd provide the link if you had it. But, we know you don't want to do that.

That's bullcrap. :emlaugh: First, I am not taking offense but that was a pitiful and frankly a stupid ass post. The sad thing is you endorsed this ignorance. If one thinks comparing a student population that have 10,000 more student than our schools and more in many cases that assess student fee ( a revenue stream) in addition to larger state subsidies than our tiny SWAC school then it is a Clarence Thomas type of logic. The larger the budget the more revenue or state subsidies have to be made. I look at this as merely a teachable moment. :emlaugh: (stop begging for the link and do some research).

Guy, do you have a reading comprehension problem?

I said "SWAC OFFICE/SWAC HQ." Not the individual schools. THE SWAC OFFICE has REVENUE GENERATORS, what are THOSE #s?

I'm done. There's just certain type of people, black-white-green-yellow, I REFUSE to EVER communicate w/ because it would be like me speaking w/ a pre-k kid. :smh:

Look @ this dumb ass shit. :smh:

Son, did you actually learn that a square peg will NOT fit in a round hole? Are you a houston independent school district graduate?

You must be busy with your work and not reading these posts closely.

I think this thread is about television revenue. Not student fees, student body size or anything else. I may be wrong, but it seems to me that P~ wants to compare television revenue and sources other than students, state government and so forth.

I don't know what conclusion he'll make, but I don't see the problem with discussing the numbers. :noidea:

Dude go sit down somewhere with that stupidity. Your Uncle Ruckus type of bias toward SWAC schools and kissing up to the Southland Conference schools and tongue tail licking of that TT character is well documented. :emlaugh:

I know you have the link and the numbers because you gave it out before.

Give it up, JROCK. You got something. I know you got something.

Gonna be mean and make that man work for it. :smh:

That was it (although that's from '08). Could you explain that in plain good english to JROCK? He has a very severe comprehension issue that's real. I cannot make fun of people like him because I was taught not to make fun of mentally subpar people. :smh:

You are the mental midget that is too lazy and trifling to do your own research. There are more recent numbers that are accessible. You are just too intellectually lame to research. :emlaugh:

There was a thread about revenue last year. MEAC was #1 and the SWAC was #3. but you had folks like 83 saying the numbers couldn't have been correct

So the bullshat we doing is so much greater. It is so much better to fold up in a fetal position and just give up and make dumb azz excuses as to why we so scared to compete within FCS.

Again............... Ya'll stuck in the past SWAC'ers make me laugh until I fart. And ya'll got the nerve to laugh at someone else because of a local deal that got dropped. Hypocrits one and all. :lmao:

Exactly.
They love the shatbox comfort zone they in.

Since they want to TRY and clown anyone that don't ride their nuts, lets talk all the shat these stuck in the past fools want to talk. I need a good laugh today after the week I just had.

Ahh............ I'm talking the SWAC as a whole like I have been doing for the last 7 years here.

Don't single me out in this minstril show. I didn't say a damm thing about any numbers so stop with your outright lie telling. My comment was about these fools laughing about others TV contract when ours ain't worth a bucket of kangaroo shat.
