Serious question, why do so many people hate on Lebron?

Dude can ball...never understood the dislike of a person based on their fame or perceived overhype. That's how it goes in Sports and Entertainment...folks are hyped and overhyped.

I had one cat tell me that because he's 6'9 and 250lbs, LeBron should just play near the basket and stop shooting, scoring and having all those assists! I said "Okay!"

Right. He didnt ask for it before he came into the league. He just rode the wave like others before him.

Issue 1: Anyone who has seen him play in the clutch, if they are honest, will admit that the guy just doesn't want the rock late with the game on the line. I'm not talking about creating something and passing to an open teammate (i.e. Jordan to Paxson in gm 6 of finals). I'm talking about he has a tendency to disappear and be a non factor. Yeah Kobe has done that before too and I bashed the crap out of him, but his was a pouting and I will show you how important I am to this team type deal. In the clutch there three guys in the league right now that I would want to have the ball in their hands and LBJ isn't one of them. They are Kobe, KD, Wade.....and I'm starting to like Westbrook's game too. For 40 mins of a tight ball game LBJ is a beast, its the last 8 mins that worries me with him.

Did you not see the Boston series last year? How about the Chicago series? How about against the Pistons in 2007? How about the entire Magic series where he averaged 38, 8 and 8? How about Game 7 in Boston in 2008 where he scored 45 points? He made game winning shots against the Wizards in the postseason.

This is the biggest myth there is about LeBron that he never comes through in the clutch. In his career, LeBron has averaged 31 points, 10 boards and nearly 8 assists in elimination games.

Oh, and when did D-Wade get this reputation of being a clutch player? Was it when the Heat didn't get out of the first-round of the playoffs before grabbing LBJ and Bosh?

So is Lebron playing to score the most points or to win a championship?? My point is this, nobody is saying Lebron is weak. We all know he can hoop his ass off, but he hasn't won a ring. If he does win this season then I wont post on this thread again. Until he wins a ring then all of what you speak about is moot bottom line. Call it hate all you want but the truth is the truth.
where Kobe and his rings at bruh?????........................................................Gone Fishin

No hate on my part, especially not for LaBrone, but the problem I run into is the LaBrone followers. They are the folk that confuse the hell out of me. They have this complex about LaBrone. They always feel that it is them against the world. They always got a stat for you, no matter what the conversation. He leads the league in this or he leads the league in that, then the next statement is always Kobe cant do that, or Kobe wont do that. They have this penis envy of Kobe.

Then when you try and tell them that they are right that LaBrone is the best physical speciman in the NBA and he has a hell of a game, but then be real with them and bring up that he has only one flaw....and that he doesn't have the killer instinct that Kobe or Mike had that's when the sh!t hits the fan....you cant have an entelligent conversation with them. LaBrone has to be the king of all that is Basketball or else you have spoken foul....

That is the only thing I have a problem with...you only speak the truth to them, but to them you speak curse words....

and one more thing for the Labrone Lovers....you always cry and shout that he is the ultimate team player and that he is Team....Team...Team...., but all he has in his trophy case is a bunch of individual awards....MVPs, scoring title, etc....The ultimate team award is a NBA Championship.....gonna have to find a little selfishness in himself and killer instinct at the right, no at Money Time of the game to accomplish that.....

Really, Really good point!

LeBron is the ultimate team guy. I mean, once he left Cleveland -- a team that had the best record in the NBA two years in row with him on the roster -- ended up with the worse record in the league. He goes to Miami -- a team that could not get out of the first round of the playoffs with D-Wade -- and his first season the Heat end up in the Finals.

Oh, and league MVPs are a result of team success by the way.

40............18...............9.............

This is what I expect from this dude. Dwade & Him are enough by themselves to defeat the Pacers. The Pacers? c'mon man...this is why I said no one is going to do it for him. He has enough talent to accomplish his goal himself, along with Dwade. Those are two of the top 5 players in the league on the same team!!!

Lebron can do this, he just has to believe it. They don't need Bosh...no excuses

Yes he had good games in those series, but what I am talking about is being clutch with it on the line. Where is his signature moment where he puts it on the line. I not saying that he has to make a game winner to be considered clutch, heck Kobe misses more then he makes. What I am talking about is that moment where its tight and he has a Keyshawn, "GIVE ME THE DAMN BALL!" moment where win or lose he takes it on himself.

...and as for Wade, I don't think that he is "clutch" in the Kobe or MJ sense....BUT....when the HEAT won their title he was clutch down the stretch. He didn't shy away from the moment. IMO LeBron does. He gets tight the more the pressure heats up.

so scoring the last 29 points in a playoff game against a CHAMPIONSHIP Piston team isn't a signature moment???

P.S. WHO THE HELL IS LABRONE?????

Did Lebron win in the finals last year? Was he clutch in the Finals?? Did he get swept in the finals before?? Call it hate all you want but its the truth and sometimes it hurts....

Evolution of Hate

First, end of games...
Then, end of playoff games...
Then, end of finals games...

After he wins his first ring, it will evolve into a discussion about quantity. lol

If he wins a ring I will give him his props and back off. Bottom line...
