Texas Southern vs Jackson State - Post Game Discussion


We beat JSU in Robinson, Memorial or BHam so TP kill that neutral mess. TXSU really exposed JSU on yesterday.
 



Yeah, the wind off #7 (Marquis Jackson) as he ran pass your left tackle and beat up on Casey.

The story will be much like Saturday (10.23.10). PV has a good defense too and the Legend will continue to fall.

That play happened because the D-back made a bone head play and had to do something to redeem himself.....and he did redeem himself.

Due a bad game? Come on dude....this ain't like catching a cold. I guess when he gets jacked next week he would have been due for TWO bad games. PV will do the same thing sTu did to him and since they have a better offense this game may not even be close. But, since Frazier's SOP is playing close games it may be closer than it should be.

Not that I am an SU fan or anything remotely resembling one I did not see the "azz kicking" you are referring to. What I saw was bad DB play at a crucial time in the game and even worse tackling (or lack thereof) by the SU DBs. If not for that "miracle" play you would have limped into H-town and back to back butt whippings.

Tsu has a decent defense. It took JSU too long to figure out what tsu was doing defensively. JSU won't run the ball twice in a row or commit to short passing. Plus the mistakes we made at the end of the halfs was too much to overcome.

We lost by 3 on the road to a less talented team ...that doesn't go over well with some folks.

This game meant way more to txsu than JSU....but we still should have won that one

I was out of town for the weekend and just turned on the computer. I am in shock learning at 11:05pm Sunday Night that JSU lost to TSU. Free safety will stop Casey long ball.

So them beating your azz last year didn't motivate yall? One would think that the Mighty JSU would want to win every game, especially after going 3-8 last season. Guess that's how yall were raised!

We should have lost by 3 TDs on the road to a way more talented team that overcame a pic 6 and 3 additional turnovers all in just the first half...that our sub-par offense couldn't do a damn thing with. We did score a meaningless TD at the end to make the score look better but the game was already over so it was for not.

This game meant way more to us than I know how to express....but we just are not the better team

I know GR, I know...jsu really has no talent on defense/sp teams/o-line/ or at the RB positions. Casey is a C+ and your WR's are B +/-. jsu has a lot of holes to fill.

But it did work for SU...TSU just took that game plan in and worked it and this time there were no miricle plays for J-State and no blown middle of the field wide open coverage, and no piss poor tackle to help JSU out this time....

The dude...no their offense was exposed on Oct. 16th and now from here on out they will have major problems scoring.....

This is not smack and I hope you Jackson folks won't take it as such, but if you do....oh well....it is what it is.....

and GR...please get off that no one has any talent except J-State...with the exception of Valley (right now) we all working with around the same amount of talent, some is just coached a lil better than others or it is just heavier in certain spots on different teams...but all in all we bout on par with eachother at this point....

Dude, can't you read? JSU shot it's own self in the foot. Three TD's called back plus two missed field goals. That's 27 points taken off the board. Hope that's clear enough. Even with a bad game on all fronts, JSU still had a chance in the closing minutes, unlike some other team.

No, those are not points "taken off the board"...those are points you never scored. Obviously the called back plays were done so because of a violation on your part. They don't count...like an offensive foul in basketball waves off a ball going into the goal. It don't count! The missed field goals you can't claim because they were MISSED. Like a dropped pass, or missed block...it means your offense didn't execute. NO COUNTING PLAYS THAT DON'T COUNT!!!

Yall got your azzes whupped by ANOTHER bunch of Tigers... The way yall lose to Gram, TnState, and now TxSU, yall need to change your mascot to "wannabe's"

Saturday we had a team full of butter fingered MOFO's on offense and defense. :lol:
3rd down at the 2 yard line and they let Texas Sorry QB run for a 47 yard gain. :smh:

1 TD called back for Offensive holding, 1 dropped TD pass, and 1 TD pass overthrown 10 feet over a wide open receiver.
