Like I said you saw SU 4 times and your cousin saw SU 1 time, while I have missed maybe 4/5 games all season. They have been hitting slow stuff all season lol . You cant pass judgement off that few of games. Jeez they had a bad game, and the kid from jSU pitched great, so what. We both know SU's lineup is way way out of wack. SU played terrible yesterday, worst I have seen them play all season, with the errors and still could have won.

And how can you possible say the east has better pitching when you have saw 1 pitcher from the east lol.

Zachery kept SU off-balanced with the slow curve and his change up.

Pitching wise, the East may be better. It will be interesting cause as seen yesterday SU didn't pitch bad. JSU got more hits but was kept in control. Spear gave up 2 solo shots and a triple. But the offense didn't help him for the 2nd straight Saturday.

SU has had bad at-bats as of late. Those weeks against grambling and tx southern has su thinking to swing for the fence all the time. It wasn't until the 8th inning when su batters started moving up in the plate.....and not 1 of them stood on deck and worked on their timing.:kaioken:

With that being said, it was good to meet the SWACstars and hang on the hill! The hill is the bomb!:tup:(wouldn't be surprised to see an old couch out there next year come tourney time..:D)

Yeah the hill is going to be real nice it was trial run for yesterday weather hasn't been really good to get things going but its going to be the best spot in the place once we host the tournament next year.
Honestly Marquise has given us a chance every game we haven't given him any run support so the 4-2 record doesn't reflect how good he has been. We still are leaving to many runners on base but hey it was a good win for us.

Your 1st 3 batters were all on top of the plate. And all three got plunked to load the bases in the top 1st. Bases load, and no outs. I think Zachary was letting y'all know he was coming inside whether y'all crowded the plate or not. If y'all did crowd, you might get hit, as evidenced by the 1st 3 batters getting hit. Y'all backed off after that.

And that's the thing. Pitchers gotta take a stand against the hitters. Throwing to SU middle of the plate out is begging to get your stuff smashed all game long. Batters will invite a fastball inside, and then turn on it like it ain't nothing. So, the pitchers just gotta use the entire plate with all of their pitches. Can't not throw inside.
 
8-2 SU in the bottom of the 4th. SUJag... said they are hitting the slow stuff today:D

Armstrong(the starting left fielder yesterday) just hit a 3 run homer.
