Von Miller committed penalty on Super Bowl clinching strip sack

Yes, match and game fixing has been prevalent in sports.

But in the Super Bowl, specifically Super Bowl 50, the evidence just isn't there.

You can talk about some calls that might not have gone the Panthers way (which happens in every game), but you also have to acknowledge that Carolina made far too many costly, game-changing mistakes that superseded any influence the refs (or outside forces) may have had.

You can say that the league wanted Manning to win because it would be a good story to send off the HOF QB with a championship in possibly his last season.

More people were talking about Cam Newton's postgame presser than Manning winning another ring.

But why would the league care that much whether Manning wins the Super Bowl or not to begin with?

It wouldn't make the NFL more popular if he did or less popular if he didn't.

Do you believe the league wanted Ray Lewis to go out on top, too?

It's just so hard to come to such conclusions without any evidence or plausible motives.

We know bad calls happen, but not one went against Denver! And yes, they did wanted Ray Lewis to go out on top! That was what the whole game was about leading up to the game.

The NFL said it wanted Ray Lewis to go out on top?

Show the receipts.
