Why are some of you so bitter, acting like TSU is the worst champion ever? Anytime any team from Texas wins a Championship, whatever league it's in is better off.

And, the East folks that's hating...:smh: Try doing better than that BamaSt with that QB.

You can tell the teams that know their days are over by following this thread. Worst champ ever was probably the last time JSU beat GSU and PV was the SWAC East champs.

We don't have to live through them. They are just keeping the trophy warm for us. Ya'll won't be seeing it anytime soon so no need for you to concern yourself.

"Nelson is eligible to play academically, but an in-house investigation brought out concerns that McClelland deemed strong enough to not risk the championship game by playing Nelson.
Even should the NCAA later determine that Nelson was in violation of an NCAA rule, a school source said the violation would be secondary in nature, and would not result in the forfeiture of any other games in which he played.
The NCAA often allows schools to determine whether to play an athlete in such a circumstance, but is particularly harsh in punishment if a school chooses to let student athlete participate in competition when there are any questions or evidence that a rules violation may have indeed occurred."

If the SWAC disbands the SCG for good, it will more likely be another 10, 20, 30 or 40 years before a Texas school wins the title and that ain't no joke.

In case you haven't noticed...Texas is in the WEST.....this ain't the east where a loosing team gets a backdoor shot at the championship. The top team over here is the top team in the SWAC. No need for a second chance SCG. Thats JSU's strategy.
