I am a true Laker fan...through thick and thin. I don't agree with some of the decisions that upper management makes but hey, I don't have a nickel in that dime.

However, my East team is now the Miami Heat.

GET READY told TSPN 3 years ago that the Lakers would trade Shaq and now it has come to pass. Shaq is fat lazy and unmotivated. No need in paying someone like that 28 million bucks. You should trade him too early rather than too late. Now if the 6ers ever get this smart and trade Iverson, GR would go into the fortune telling bitness.

Actually, GET READY should have been a general manager or director of some sports league. Sometimes GET READY scares himself. Nobody believed GR when he said Shaq must go instead of Kobe. You dont trade the greatest player in the world for any reason.

Vlade Divac has reached an agreement to rejoin the Los Angeles Lakers, leaving the Sacramento Kings after six seasons, an NBA source told The Associated Press.

The deal with the 36-year-old Serbian center was expected to be finalized by Tuesday, the source said on condition of anonymity.
Earlier in Belgrade, Serbia-Montenegro, Divac said he was leaving the Kings.

"It was a great six years in Sacramento," he said. "I'm sad that I'm leaving, but the Kings did not show any interest to keep me."

The Lakers would not confirm the deal with the unrestricted free agent, but said a player announcement was expected Tuesday.

Oh well, the Fakers have now become like the Sixers (with Iverson), the old Magic (with Tmac), the old Rockets (with Francis), the Knicks (with Houston), the Raptures (with Carter), and the Hawks (with Terry). All they have now is a scorer that can put butts in the stands. They may make it to the first round of the playoffs, but they'll never get past that round.
 
I just read a report that said that Karl Malone and Robert Horry are considering Miami as places to play.

Shaq has brought some serious interest to Miami.
