Bush, Leinart, or Young. Who really is the best NFL prospect?

The plays outside were DESIGNED to go outside for Bush. That was the PLAY. The only play he bounced outside after staring inside wa the TD run.

If the play is designed to go outside he would probably have a lead. He didn't.
He headed into the line and bounced it out. Texas db's came up to contain and strung him to the sideline. Go back and watch the game.

Vince Young...in college ball it matters what you do in the Big Game....the kid played his heart out when the time came for him to carry the team...and he did his job as the Field General.

Ole L Dog...he needs a running back to look good....
And Reggie....his spirits left when he made that first mistake....then the coach started running the other back.

Hiram Clarke represented last night. Vince is the best qb/athelete in the country. He should go pro and Texans should take him 1st and trade David Carr. Reggie Bush isn't the best running back on his football team and he is not an every down back. ESPN got him that trophy he is walking around with. He is exciting, but White was the back that was setting him up for all of those big runs. Take Bush away from USC and they are still 13-0, take Vince away from UT, 9-3.

Go get your money Vince!! I pass by your house everyday and it is time for you to send your mother, grandmother, and sisters to SilverLake estates. But sign my stuff before you move. :jump:

to be honest I still say Reggie Bush and Matt Leinart are top prospect. What people fail to realize about last night is that Matt Leinart showed alot. He showed that he could take hard shots and keep getting up. He also showed that he has courage and resiliancy, because he came out the second half and was on fire. He made every throw there is to make. He put the ball on the money every time. Reggie Bush still showed that he is hella talented and that he can beat you in more than one way. It's just funny how folks can just judge somebody off of one game. People were hating on Reggie Bush when he put up 513 yards of total offense against Fresno St., but some of the same folks are jumping on Vince Young's band wagon after last night.

Who was hating on Reggie Bush after Fresno?

The difference with Vince is that he did it in the CHAMPIONSHIP game against one of the "best of all time" according to ESPN.

come on now bruh, everybody knew going into the game that USC's defense was weak. Everybody was saying that, even ESPN. The "Best of all time" was solely according to their dynamic offense.

That's no excuse, though. If you want to say that you could say none of their stats matter because none of them were stopped by anyone this season.

I say Reggie Bush. Consider this. He has 174 yards of total offense, and some consider that he had a bad game. Plus, Bush can play three positions, receiver, h-back, and running back.

If Vince Young wants to be a successful NFL quarterback, he needs to develop similar throwing mechanics/fundamentals as Georgia's D.J. Shockley and Ohio State's Troy Hudson have done. His side arm delivery will cause problems for him in the NFL.
