I see on Bama A*M website is that the SWAC Baseball Championship game will be played in Pearl, MS I was scrolling on worldstadiums, and I saw that Trustmark Park is the only stadium in Pearl, MS, so I am wondering what will the attendance be in thr 7,500 stadium!

P.S What arena will the b-ball Tourny be played at. BJCC, or Fair Park Arena?
 

The stadium is the home of the Double A Mississippi Braves. The attendance could be pretty nice because it is a great place to watch a game. Not a bad seat in the house. It was built for the Braves who have been in Pearl for only a year. And it is only a few miles from downtown Jackson. I think it was an excellent decision to move the game there.

Centralized location, Swac city, great choice ,although when it was at SU there were sell-out crowds each day the tournament was held.
 
SU plays LSU at Lee Hines in April, or May!!!!!!! :nod2:

P.S Minnesota Golden Gophers will travel to Baton Rouge!! :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:

I think it was the SWAC's flirtation in having some tourneys hosted at member institutions...

Mach, it's true about the SWAC baseball tourney when it was on the yard. The Lee-Hinds stands were full pretty much the whole time, and there was some good ball being played on campus during the week...

question... so 1,000 at a baseball game on a HOME campus of a traditional power SU is a GOOD draw?
