I haven't seen it in awhile, my hairstylist keeps me up and yes indeed, it's getting GOOD!

Been hooked since waaaaaayyyyyy back in the day. Me, my mother, mother-in-law, and the church ladies have a good time discussing it. One of them calls me "Victor." :lol:

But now-a-days its the VCR that saving me when I get the chance to watch. I actually keep up with it via Toni's Y&R Spoilers website. They have the episodes posted a day in advance (today's episode was posted yesterday).

BTW: My daughter is doing law school at Ohio State. We move her up this weekend.

I stopped messing with the VCR. The only that has me still watching is SOAPCITY. They play the current day's episode that evening at 7p.m. EST and 6a.m. EST. I usually catch it in the evenings. The best thing SOAPCITY has ever aired!:shades:


Congrats on your daughter in Law School. I have a cousin that frequents OSU. She attends Ohio University/ Bio Chemistry and she goes up to Ohio State to use their lab when they don't have the instuments to do certain studies.
 
I have not watched Y&R in a long time, but I am sure if I watch one show, I can catch up on what is going on. Is Victor still da MAN.

Congrats to your daughter. Tell her to study, study, study, she will do fine!!!!! My niece will begin SULC on August 21. So we will have 2 new lawyers in 3 years! Godspeed to her.

BTW, what's the website? I usually call my aunt in Shreveport because it comes on there at 11 and not until 4 in BR when I want to know REALLY BAD.

John Abbot is dead. I'll be wearing black on the day of the funeral. :bawling:
 
JOHN DEAD? (uh, you know folks serious when they don't add the "S")

So I stopped watching soaps a few years ago when I couldn't keep up and didn't have time to watch the recordgins and all of a sudden they started focusing on the 'kids' of the folks I grew up watching. And when they started changing the people who played the main characters...I couldn't keep up. It was bad enough I didn't know the 'young foks' but it was awful when they started changing the actors who played them.

Any-who...any long-time fan still likes to know what's going on, even if we don't watch any mo'. So what the heck you talking 'bout Brad is George?

One of my former co-workers will email me periodically with updates (still don't know half the folks she's talking 'bout). I will glance at Soap Opera Digest in line at the grocery store and I'll flip to Soap City, but it's tough when I don't recognize the 'young people'. They make me feel old.

In all honestly, soaps nowadays focus too much on 'kids'. They spend too much time on the 16-21 age group...every story line is about someone's child...or who's the momma or daddy of the kid.

Ok, but back to Y&R...um, what they do to Drucilla?
