Yall say what yall want about the Saints Defense BUT:

blue, the Jets defense held the Saints offense to 10 points. TEN!!! Your defense scored 14 points, while the Jets defense stood on the sidelines looking. Sharper ran that long INT for a TD and they sacked Sanchez in the endzone and fell on the fumble for a TD.

Like I said, the Jets had the best defense in the NFL.

Yes...but their effectiveness against the Colts was compromised by Manning's familiarity with what they were doing. He had seen that defense in the regular season and the same scheme the week before against Baltimore. Plus, those defenses didn't have an offense to put up points (at least potentially) as the Saints have.

Manning struggles out the gate and we hit them with scores off a short field, their azz is grass. Of course it could easily happen mirror opposite of that. We shall see.

Ok I give you that. :D So obviously the Saints defense was better that day...right?:lol::lol:

The thing about Manning is, he figures teams out as the game progresses. Against the Jets in the 1st game, they did a good job most of the 1st half. Indy started scoring and took Manning and crew out after they took the lead early in the 3rd. Same thing happened last weekend. Jets had them on lock. Manning figured them out late 2nd quarter and the scoring wouldn't stop. That's against the best defense in the NFL, now. Nobody has a problem moving on the Saints. They do manage to turn it over to the Saints, tho. If the Colts don't turn it over like crazy, I can't see the Saints winning.

This is what you hope for....

If you look at both Cardinals and Vikings games.. our defense did run the same defense against both... Maybe the same looks but we did not blitz as much against the Cardinals...

The Cardinals had a GREAT offense BUT they were not able to move the ball on us....

We went into the Vikings game determined to but hits on Brett....Being the great QB he is he got his passes off.... That was a sacrifice we took... hell every team takes that sacrifice going against a great QB blitzing a lot...

I honestly don't think we will have to blitze Manning the way we did Favre...

Their run game is weak.. and they will not run against us with THAT defense...

and I guess for once and for all we going to have to show some of you just how good our back field really is.. Only few commentators are paying attention, but you all will see SUPERBOWL Sunday....

Manning will not have the success some of you think he will against our secondary.... When Greer and Porter weren't our 2 corners I would totally agree... But I have a strong feeling Porter and Greer stocks are about to go up after this Superbowl....

You think your D-Line will be able to get to Manning??? I hope you know Manning was only sacked 6 times all regular season. Sacked 10 times all year, including the playoffs. If the Saints don't blitz, they gone get murdered. And Porter and Greer can only cover 2 people. Assuming they can straight shut down their guy, you still gone need a nickel back, safety and/or LB to cover Dallas Clark and one of the other 3 WRs. Tall task, son.

We gone blitz.. just not as much...

You are spinning worse than "Dat Dude" brah...

NO one on here said nothing about the holes our defense has... None of us boasted about how we DON'T have holes.. so where are you getting this from.

Still again... YOU are focusing on the Saints having holes like the Colts DON'T have holes....:retard:

Please don't say you are not doing this... when not ONE of your post made mention to how the Saints could take advatage of the Colts defense...

See my thing is this dude... I could give a damn who you are any other Saints hater PICK..... It really don't matter.... What is silly is for you all to act like you don't have a dog in the fight but yet only have positives to say about the Colts and all negatives to say about the Saints....

You can't spin this no other way...

J...when has anyone asked me "what can the Saints do to win"? Have YOU asked me where the Colts holes are? I mean...before the bickering after Ive commented on something?

YOU'VE NEVER ASKED me anything. All you've done is complain whenever I say something positive about the Colts. The team that I think has the edge in this match-up. Apparently, TO YOU, saying something positive about the Colts equates to "The Saints have no Chance"...:noidea:

Blade you had PLENTY open opps to say something other than glorify the Colts...

Shyt it was about 4 threads started.. I just don't think you have it in you to do so...lol

Favre wasn't sacked at all by the Saints D. I don't know if the goal is to sack Manning as much as it is to get some hits on him. Gregg Williams is talking a lot about pressure and blitzing, etc... but I think he's doing a lot of bluffing.

The Colts have to play Defense too... Drew Brees is a long way better than any of the qb's the Colts have faced so far in the playoffs. Tom Brady always picks them apart and only because of a brain fart by Bill B. were they able to come back and win after falling behind.

Payton better bring his A game and to be honest...he tends to struggle early. A good qb, but when I hear folks talk about him being the best of all-time, I laff. He doesn't handle pressure well...physical or mental...early in games. Even in the Superbowl win they had..he was GIVEN the MVP trophy but he wasn't really sharp at the beginning and thanks to D Rhodes running it "relaxed" him to make the passing game effective late.

I think this one will be a double digit win for the Saints!:lecture:

J...How da he!! is it my job to glorify the Saints?...:retard: In a discussion, if Ive picked which team I think is going to win, of course, Im going to type more that's positive for the Colts...cuz, I'd have to back up what I said/type.

What have you said positive about the Colts? Whatever the amount...Im sure it ain't too much more or less than Ive said about the Saints.

We can go back even further than that....You have to decide whether YOU'RE going to talk about the SuperBowl as a Saints fan or a fan that's watching two teams play for the SB. Cuz, you waffle back and forth on that like a mu'fu....

I can do either/or....cuz, my horse ain't in the race. I can talk as a person that thinks the Colts are going to win...or, I can give you a team to team analysis. Most of the questions towards me...after Ive said that Im leaning towards the Colts...have been "how do you think the Colts would win?". Not "make a case for both teams winning the SB"

Football is made up of four elements:
Offense
Defense
Special Teams
Coaching

I don't hear anyone talking about the coaching of these two teams. I just think if you give both of these staffs two weeks to prepare, I got my money on Sean Payton, and Greg Williams.

The Saints will win this game. Yall better believe Raw Ray.

Let's see...Peyton Manning had the Jets defense figured out, and was calling out their blitzes in their Week 16 matchup. He had one week to prep for that game. Now you are giving Manning two weeks to prep for the Saints 26th ranked pass defense. :noidea:

In a game like this, your biggest weakness with be exposed. They key is figuring out which team has the biggest weakness and who will do the better job at exploiting it.
