Basically, car sharing services. You get paid by the hour by a company to give people rides. Whatever people give you in person is considered a tip. It is a private taxi service of sorts. PEople register for the service online and it is billed too their credit card. They can use their cell phones to request a ride and if you are in the area, u will get a notification.

1. It's dangerous.
2. Stop and go traffic. Increased wear and tear on your car.
3. Extra mileage on car lowers its resale value.
4. Gas and vehicle maintenance costs.
5. The company will probably ask you to change your insurance policy so that they'll be protected. Raise your limits. Higher insurance rates.
6. Increased chance for accident.
7. They've already paid the company for the ride. Will your tips be enough to cover your extra costs? Make a profit?
8. It's dangerous.

Oh. Ok. I have never heard of any thing like that here in Houston (I am not saying that it does not exist here in Houston, I am just saying that I have never heard of it.) I have seen something similar to this in New York City, but I am not sure if this is the same thing. Now, would I try that here in Houston, HELL NAWL!!!!

Correct! In DC taxi drivers get robbed and killed. I wouldn't do it because you could be getting set up to get robbed.

I would not even think about doing that in Jackson let alone D.C. Sad to say but that has "danger" written all over it. No telling when "that psyco fool" will be your next pickup.
