Wonder Woman Saves DC

Not really because the same folks who caused all the mess at DC are still there.

This is the same company that has issue with black males (see the CW Network), with fans who OPENLY called for violence towards Captain America Civil war over better reviews and 3 black males in the film and these are the folks who can't stand the fact not every one loves who they use.

So while it's great for WW to succeed-it is just a band aid on a bigger issue. Lets see what their reaction when Black Panther comes out. Since they have RUIN every single black character at DC in favor of white ones.

The only prominent black character DC has right now is Cyborg, and maybe Black Lightning. Hopefully they put Vixen in their upcoming movies.Marvel has more to work with since they have Black Panther, War Machine, and Falcon. Hopefully Fox gives Storm a bigger role in their next movie.

Historically Marvel has been more diverse than DC. Hell the creation of the X-Men was a political statement (Mutants =blacks, Professor X = King, Magneto = Malcolm X). The problem with recent DC movies is Zack Snyder. He can give you great action sequences but can't create a story to save his life.
 
Snyder is taking a leave of absence on the Justice League movie. Someone will be handling the post productions and some re shoots. What also worked in Wonder Woman was they put some heart into it. It had dark moments but it focused on hope and relationships that she had with Steve Trevor, Hippolyta, and other supporting cast in the movie. I was skeptical of Gal Godat having the role but she is fine as hell. She served in the Israeli armed forces for 2 years.

Folks were arguing me down about Gal Gadot. I knew she would be great!

I think every Israeli has to serve at least two years in the military. I wouldn't mess with her though. They all know krav maga.

But DC has kinda-sorta recovered with Suicide Squad (thanks to Deadpool's success) and now Wonder Woman. I heard Joss Whedon is gonna take over Justice League.

Bow with DC's minority characters, I hate how they had portrayed Mr. Terrific on Arrow. Still haven't seen any movement to cast John Stewart in a Green Lantern Corps movie. Hope Scooter from Living Single kicks ass in Black Lightning. Thanks to Teen Titans cartoons, Cyborg's probably the most recognizable minority character DC has. Hell they had to write Diggle into the Green Lantern comic after the success of the character on Arrow.

That WHOLE network has issues with black males. Scooter will get written like a SIMP in Black Linting. the MOMENT they included his girls-it was all over.

Folks in charge HATE John Stewart. SO much they created a Latino female & Arab guy to replace him. Because they had planned to kill him off. Now he's in the background of a Hal Jordan book.

DC does not care about black characters. Just watch what they do after Black Panther comes out.

I have a little more respect for D.C. Now. I read a lot of comics (always have) but I didn't know that Wonder Woman has a twin sister that happens to be black and one that has actually beaten her in combat. Her name is Nubia and was created in 1973.

Dude, she is the only one that can play that part. LOL. Once I saw what she looked like before the Batman vs Superman movie came out. I was like oh yeah at least she got that look. Then she was the only real bright spot in that Superman vs Batman movie. She is on point. Yeah I saw she served. She aint nobody to be messing with from my understanding either.

Same here. As soon as I saw her after she won the role. I was like she fits the WW look. Now all she needs is a good story line. She moves into my Scarlett Johanssen and Kate Beckinsale category now. Actually she might have passed them up. LOL. I had forgotten Gadot was in the Fast and Furious movies until I looked at her again and then saw something about it. I was like damn, that's where I saw her from.

I remember reading how whites were upset about an Israeli-born woman playing Wonder Woman. Then there was a slight commotion about Gal Gadot serving in the Israeli military, but I believe it came from Lebanon (who got it handed to them by them).

If I'm not mistaken, I think Gal Gadot was pregnant when she filmed Wonder Woman (or was it Dawn of Justice)?
