SWAC Officials
I wish the SWAC office would step up and demand more from the officials. They are getting paid to make sure no team get an advantage by violating the rules of the game. They should be evaluated after each game. Remember, the kids are playing the game and officials should not decide the outcome of the game. Most of all they should be consistent with their calls. Case in point, on Alcorn's first TD drive of the game, a unsportmanship call was made against a AL St DB for hitting the receiver after the pass had been overthrown. This was a critical call that kept the drive going. Alcorn DBs did the same throughout the game. No calls were made. If we performed like that on our job we would be fired.
